  1. SPEC will make you a Multi-Disc clutch if you give them a call.
  2. Might be worth it to spring for a new radiator. With the money and time you have in the car I would think it would be a worthy investment. I know when I replaced mine the difference in cooling was tremendous, and it was just a stock replacement. If you don't have the cash for a new one you could simply have it re-cored.
  3. I have an Apex'i AVC-R. The things that you can adjust are pretty nice. You may want to take a look at their website. They've also come down in price about $200. Unfortunately I'm still breaking in my engine so I haven't hooked it up yet to give a personal review. Here's a link to some reviews of it: Apex'i AVC-R
  4. I weighed my ZX at 2700lbs empty. You may be referring to Gross Vehicle Weight on the label.
  5. I did a search and couldn't 100% confirm this but is the Speedo Cable on the T-5 that came on the turbo models the same threads as the one used in the Fords? Reason I'm asking is that I'm going to be converting from my stock speedo to an electric one from Autometer and I noticed they have only a GM/Chrysler unit and a Ford unit. Thanks in advance for any help.
  6. I've gone for the past 2 years and as long as you stay out of downtown it's pretty fun. It seems a large urban element of people have taken over downtown which kinda sucks. You'll get stuck in traffic for hours because of the cruising.
  7. Hey Joel. I didn't see your e-mail on here but please drop me a line as I have a question for you. My e-mail is seanlogan@mailsnare.net
  8. Have fun. You'll be glad all you have is your Ranger, because your Z would get broken into. It's a pretty tough town.
  9. Mike, you're going to UTI in Houston right? If I were you I'd not do anything too fancy that you don't want stolen in the first month. My twin brother went to that UTI and his car was broken into twice, and then stolen. This was in a 6 month period!!! My father and I drove a spare car we had out there in a weekend. That's from Sacramento to Houston in 3 days. Did I mention that when the car was recovered days later, the police took approx. 2 months to notify my father and then charged him fees for storage. So needless to say, watch your car like a hawk, and make the thing look as un bling-bling as possible. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when it'll be broken into and how much stuff will be lost. I've always said a garage is the best alarm money can buy.
  10. What about the Lexus 4L from the SC400?
  11. That looks very interesting. Could you give us some more info on the install? -Sean83ZXT
  12. I know several people here are using South Florida Performance to create their header, and I know at least TimO is having problems with certain aspects of the process. Well I found another company that makes turbo headers and was wondering what you guys thought about them. The tubing is pretty darn thick and the overall header looks well designed. The company is called Full-Race and I read on another board that this was the only header to stand up to a 529hp SR20DET. Their site is http://www.full-race.com and I'd like to hear what you guys think. I will try to get in touch with them to see if they make custom turbo headers. -Sean
  13. The only one I see is for the 90-96 300ZX.
  14. Here's what I found on their site: "The standard LM-1 includes a Bosch wide-band oxygen sensor and cable, cigarette-lighter adapter, serial cable for PC connection, 9V battery, exhaust bung and plug, CD and manual. The LM-1 ships with a Bosch sensor, however, it can also function with other wide-band sensors, including Honda/NTK and VW sensors. Available accessories include auxiliary input cables, alligator-clip power cable, exhaust clamp, analog output cable, and Aux. input expander. Additional accessories include a dash-mountable display and AC adapter. The LM-1 sells for $349, including the oxygen sensor (Bosch LSU4.2), 10' sensor cable, 10' power cable, serial PC cable, and software.."
  15. Ahh much more clear. Thanks for your responses guys.
  16. So that means the Datsun engine forum is gone? Technically it's not a swap. Oh well.
  17. From what the Overboost article said, it was custom made. You could try and find some contact info for ABR, but again you'd need someone who can speak Japanese.
  18. You would have to get in touch with ABR, and that would require some japanese skills. As for a number, you might look on the web. Like I said this is not just a kit they stock, it was all custom made.
  19. The Kit was custom made by ABR. They are also in Japan and you'd be hard pressed to get that kit unfortunately.
  20. This I understand. I may have not been very clear. I want to know what TPS people used since you cannot use the stock one and what they modified to use the stock linkage. Thanks again.
