  1. Can anyone provide any info on the TPS they used and how they set it up? I would like to use the stock linkage if at all possible. Thanks.
  2. Have any of you looked into the ITS stuff? http://www.innovativeturbo.com
  3. You may try SPEC Clutches. I've ridden in TimO's Z and it seemed to hold the power very well and didn't chatter too much.
  4. ...right to the recall line at the dealer? (sorry Mike, I had to throw that one in there!)
  5. I'm not sure if many of you guys have heard about this shop or even used their services but they look like they're a top notch shop. Take a look at this review: http://www.overboost.com/story.asp?id=459 Their website is available at the following link but the last time I checked they were remodeling it: http://www.innovativeturbo.com -Sean
  6. Oops! I looked at their site and I guess they're redesigning it. You might see if you can look around on the net and find some contact info. -Sean
  7. jeffp- Have you looked at Innovative Turbo Solutions? They make a few really nice looking wastegates and they seem to know their stuff. I believe they were some of the original founders of Turbonetics. Check them out at: ITS
  8. I'd love to see their pics w/ permission of course. I stopped at TimO's a week or so back. I will be hard pressed to pass him lemme tell ya. His lil rocket can move for not being tuned comepletely and not being on full boost. Let me know if you can send those pics. -Sean
  9. Donna- You have any pics or info on how you hooked it up? I was thinking of using either an ITS or Tial Wastgate on the ITS adapter that bolts up between the exhaust manifold and the turbo.
  10. Donna- We may be heavier but we have "luxury"
  11. 12. I'd say Sunbelt or Horsepower by Gerolamy (where my work is being done).
  13. I think the mods do a darn good job as well and would like to say this is one of the most pleasant and mature forums that I frequent. I'd also like to add that if this site is ever in need of more mods, I'd like to volunteer my services. I'm not sure how often the current mods have time to venture in to the forums but I do look at them several times a day and would be more than happy to help. -Sean
  14. So Donna you're the one who's keeping him busy w/ your project instead of mine! My engine has been there since June, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
  15. My main holdup was that Nathan went to Europe for 3 weeks right when he got my motor, then when he came back he was obviously backed up and on top of that he's waiting on parts such as pistons and things. I'm doing the build through Motorsport Dynamics so Henry is working directly with Nathan for the in depth technical duties that I don't know. Thanks to the help of some serious research through the forums, books and good ol' TimO, I am well on my way to a street screamer.
  16. Try using some electrical contact cleaner on all your connections to the ECU. I had a similar problem and that solved it.
  17. If you're looking for a good Turbo company check out Innovative Turbo Solutions. Some of the main guys founded Turbonetics back in the hay day.
  18. Excellent Job Pete! Can I ask what color paint that is? I have a feeling it's the GM paintcode my brother wants me to use.
  19. I've weighed my '83 280ZX and it was about 2750lbs cleaned out w/ almost no gas.
  20. '93 and up Camaro Z28's use these mainly. Also the newer Vettes if I'm not mistaken.
  21. Nic, take a look at some of sss510's posts. He's running a T56 w/ L6 combo in a 510. If memory serves correct he did need a special bell housing for it to work.
  22. SDS has a system with coil packs. Take a look at their site: SDS
  23. I believe it depends on the year you got the driveshaft from. I seem to remember hearing the ZX driveshafts are not rebuildable.
