  1. It looks like these guys make some polyurethane ones. http://www.noltecsuspension.com/product/search.php?selBrand=47&product_vhcid=491
  2. I'm curious, isn't this your daily driver/parts hauler? Isn't it still under warranty? Why would you want to do anything to make it less dependable or destroy it? Couldn't you put that on one of your many other cars? Just curious.
  3. It's close but the pic make it look closer than the piping actually is. I may have the turbo re-clocked a bit to point the outlet down. I'll talk to the shop on Monday. As far as the wastegate the shop made an adapter with two T-3 flanges and some tubing.
  4. The turbo is a T3/T4 60-1 Ptrim. If I remember correctly there were only 20 or so made. It uses a prototype lotus housing from what I'm told. I know a few other members have this turbo so they may be able to provide more detailed specs. The turbo was re-clocked because it didn't look like we could fit the intercooler piping next to the shock tower. Clifton - I think the pic you're referring to is of the ABR 280ZX in Japan. If you saw pic of my primered and beatup hunk of junk you'd realize the engine bay is the nicest thing on it. I'll try to get some more pics up when I get it back from the shop.
  5. I'll be using it for now. I haven't had any problems so far, but in the future I'll go with a custom intake like the one from Lonewolf or a TWM setup.
  6. Doesn't it look all cozy tucked in there? Hopefully I can get her dialed in soon and let her stretch her legs soon.
  7. I'm curious as how they came up with $14k? Was it appraised by Haggerty directly? I'm thinking about going with Haggerty as well and am curious as to the the process.
  8. This is a common problem. Spray the contacts on the ECU with electrical contact cleaner. Refer to the Search function for more info.
  9. You might also try cleaning the ECU connections.
  10. Yeah it's made by ABR. I can upload some more later. Last I heard it's not made anymore but I really want that wing. Wonder if someone has contacts in Japan that can find out.
  11. Don't worry, we all make mistakes. Go ahead and tell us what was wrong. Your post may help someone out in the future.
  12. Generally it's a corrupt temp file. If you go to Start > Run and type %temp% and hit enter your temp folder will open. As long as all your of applications are closed you should be able to delete everything in this folder and then you can try opening the file again.
  13. Don't forget to spray the ECU connections with Electrical Contact Cleaner. Many people have had this problem before.
  14. Sounds like your tuning is coming along nicely. Let me know if you can send me a copy of those maps when ya get a chance.
  15. Thank you Google... http://wedgeengineering.net/index.html
  16. Actually if you look at this map you'll notice that there is more than 6 counties that smog only on transfer. http://www.smogcheck.ca.gov/ftp/pdfdocs/program_map.pdf
  17. The article from Turbo mag says they are Chevlon Sport wheels from Japan.
  18. Do any of the folks using SDS have an excel spreadsheet for the fuel maps? I want to compare my values and I noticed something about a spreadsheet that will graph your maps from the yahoo SDSEFI group. Does anyone have something like this? Thanks,
  19. SPEC will make you a Multi-Disc clutch if you give them a call.
