  1. Oil goes in the cam journals, and drips, leaks, etc onto the cam lobes. I had T3's before with a 63 ex side. I Now have V trim wheel for the compresser, and I forget what the ex side is. I measured everything out and someone was supposed to email me my info back (cough clif cough)!!
  2. Yea I will get it to the dyno in the next month or so, Sorta busy with other things right now. I am HOPING for 700 to the ground with the upgrades. We shall see.
  3. Yes that is the main reason is bore spacing because between the two center cylinders is greater for the big main bearing in the center.
  4. T3 and T4 flanged. I might go dual T4's you never know!
  5. Well I finally got her almost all back together. I decided to call it quits for the night, but I couldnt do so without starting it without the cam cover on. Here is my crappy vid just to show twin cams spinning on a z engine.

  7. Found this helpfull chart http://wheelspecialists.com/index.php?section=wheelspecs I think I found a set of wheels 17*10 with a 20 pos offset, and a 17*9 with a 24 pos offset for cheap, I think I will try.
  8. I have had cobra rotors on my car since late august, with great results. I have gone to 150+ down to zero a couple times in a row with no brake fade. Here is some shots. Ofcourse I built my own brackets on my CNC machine, to accept wilwood calipers out of 7075 alluminum.
  9. Yea I guess you can say I live on the edge, and that can be seen with my two z cars I play with. My NA car is setup like I describe for about 40 thousand miles on it, with no problems. Had the valve cover off at about thirty thousand miles, with no problems showing. It runs GOOD as well. Like with all my post, take it as you wish, and it is all just for educating others with my hands on experience.
  10. Oh the good questions begin! MUHAHAHAHAHA. I did lots of research to see what would work, Ill give the the biggest hint, its AWD.
  11. Your not missing something, you and I are on the same page. With ALOT of cam grinders, you are fixed on certain duration VS Lift. I like to get more lift than alot of cam grinders want to give for certain durations, so I cheat the rocker. I have machined my own lash pads to get all of them exactly where I want them. Sometimes ten thousands incriments is too much as well.
  12. I have ran them with that same amont or less than that before. You will have no problems. BUT you MUST check every rocker.
  13. I have lots of friends that run K sports with good results, and I paid 250.00 for these. I welded the adjuster to the strut tube, just like azzcar's setup does, and re drilled the camber and pillow mounts to the z pattern. Pretty easy reall.
  14. If this was my personal engine, I would set it up with .150" instead of the .160" I keep my patterns CLOSE to the pivot point. Will be a little noiser though. Put .180" on that scenrio if you want real quiet.
  15. Thats what I am getting at, I will run more offset, 24mm, and get the tire right up to the strut tube, and have the spring and the nut above the tire. I have K sport coilovers, which allow me to adjust ride height independent of spring tenstion also. I will also be welding the strut more INWARD of where it welds on the spindle in relation to the factory setting anyways. I think if you would of had your nut above the tire, and ran a wheel with more offset you could have possibly used your first set of flares. Do you still have the first set of flares? Wanna sell?
  16. How close is your tire and wheel (rear) to the STRUT tube, not the adjuster nut. Also, what size spring are you running, 8"? Clifton fits a 275 tire under stock rear quaters, others run this as well. The zg flares SHOULD give another 2" of clearence, and that is more than the difference in the width of the tires. Correct me if I am wrong.
  17. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Black-Chrome-Mustang-FR500-Wheels-17x9-17x10-5_W0QQitemZ290202401782QQihZ019QQcategoryZ43957QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I found these, do we think they might clear?
  18. Yes I forot to mention I am running 5 lug. I have to have 17's to clear the big brakes as well.
  19. Yea I would run 5 zigens, BUT all you guys are runnng them here in AZ, and I dont want to be a copy cat, haha. THese are on my 75 twin turbo fairlady. Yea I have been watching RB motoring for awhile now, BUT I do not like the looks of alot of them, and If I do like the looks, they are really expensive.
  20. I dont have AZZC brakes or suspestion, but I have basicly the same setup. So you have 5 zigens?
  21. I am looking for some 17x10.5 adn 17x9 wheels for my tt car. I need about a 5 3/4 backspacing on the 10.5 and a 5 on the 9, atleast from my calculations. I will be running ZG flares. I am having a hard time finding off the shelf units, without going custom (expensive) I will be running a 315/35 and a 275/40 tire. I do not mind using used wheels either. Please correct me if I am wrong on my calculations. Obviously I am using coilovers as well.
  22. That is with a 100% flat piston, with .023" piston to head clearence.
