  1. I had some free time...Notice the bottom left corner.
  2. The curve is in the FSM. It's a small diagram-I don't remember the page. I'll try to look it up when I get home. I used it to determine what thermister to buy to improvise with a head with no temp sender.
  3. Sorry, wrong forum. I moved it.
  4. I'm in!! When can it be available? Do you take paypal? I'm trying to convince my wife that I need a MS2 for Christmas.
  5. Where are you on this modnow? Any pics available? I'm thinking of doing this myself.
  6. So, I just rebuilt my 83 ZXTurbo L28ET. .460" lift cam, T03/04 hybrid, stock bottom end, Arizona Z 12.5lb flywheel, adjustable rising rate fuel pressure regulator. I am in the process of acquiring the next step's parts. I bought Palnet's fuel rail, getting ready to buy an MSII, 440cc injectors, and a fuel pump. I was wondering what fuel pumps you guys have had success with- I want to buy the right one the first time. I am looking at an end goal of somewhere around 300 HP. Tell me what you think.
  7. As with any performance part for a Nissan, they fit multiple vehicles. It would cost too much money to maintain a stock of the same part adjusted to fit a specific aplication.I just purchased these for my S130, and I love them. I installed them yesterday and the car needs an alignment. You can get it close and then spend the $50 and get an alignment. You probably need it anyway!!
  8. I have the same problem on the other end of the cam. I thought it was just me. How long have you had the cam? I bought mine earlier this year. Jan or Feb. I also purchased the matching springs.

    L25ETT?

Turbocharged L24 sounds fun. Why not? I've never seen one done. You can be an original. You can make up for displacement with the turbo. Go for it!!
  10. This is not exactly the same, but... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=280zx+center+taillight&_sacat=See-All-Categories
  11. Be wary of the Schneider turbo cam. I purchased one for my 83 turbo with the p90A head. The cam I received was NOT for a hydraulic head as advertised. I had to swap to adjustable lash adjusters. If the paper that came with the cam specifies a lash adjustment it is for a mechanical type head. With the stock hydraulic adjusters the cam had .035" clearance. Just FYI. I have heard of others with the same story. With that said, I bought the .460" lift cam and it STARTS making power at 2300 and I have taken it up to 6500. It is a ffresh rebuild and I don't want to push it untill I break it in.
  12. It is a turbo engine. If you look at the intake it has the manifold over-pressure valve in front of the EGR and a manifold pressure transducer(for the boost gauge) on the driver's inner fender.
  13. Or if you like a challenge... http://www.carlton24v.co.uk/afmmaf.htm Or the programable MAF... http://www.abacoperformance.com/products.htm
  14. Order online: https://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Result.aspx?Ne=25000&Ntt=&Nty=1&N=599001+101979+50018+2018016+26327&Ntk=Keyword
  15. Did anything come of this? If not, do you have a pattern you can post? I have my front end off right now and am in the market for something different. This kit would be very cool.
  16. Update: Timeserts, mechanical lifters, and new valve springs installed. Runs better than anticipated. Starts making power around 2500rpm and goes crazy!! Going to the shop tomorrow for 3" exhaust, and then on to find an LSD.
  17. There is a proportioning valve, but it's for the front to rear bias- not for left and right. The sides have parallel hydraulic paths. If you have a left to right issue then you need to look at the lines or calipers. Download the FSM and look in the brake section. It shows the entire brake system on a single page. xenons130 has it free to download. http://xenons130.com/reference.html
  18. I ordered time-sert part number 48153. I received them today. They are labeled as spark plug repair inserts and are copper plated steel. I installed them on the mechanical lifters and they are just slightly longer than the lifter. When I receive the new valve springs, I'll insatll them. Again, thanks for the help!!! So, If anybody cares, I am posting pics of the timesert install.
  19. I ordered 20. But thanks for the offer. So, if anyone needs the extra 8, let me know.
  20. So, this is a dead horse. I ordered the time-serts from ebay. 10 for $35. I have the donor head in my garage from the NA motor I was playing with. I should be on the road by the middle of next week. Thanks for the help guys!!!
  21. I searched for articles but was unsucessful. Do you have a link available? Or a key word? I searched for tappet.
  22. Per Motorsport auto this is for the 83 ONLY turbo head. I might try the Timeserts. Do you have the sizes or the part number? I just read on another site about MSA providing the wrong cam grind. So, it probably is a mechanical. I'd really like to keep the hydraulics. Nismo offers different size tappets up to 7mm. I'm thinking of ordering some, but I need to know where to measure the tappets from.
  23. I tried searching and came up with nothing. I am running a P90A hydraulic lifter head. I just installed a new cam and followers. Cam from Schneider (I am ordering the matching spring kit), resurfaced followers from Delta. I need to know where I need to measure the tappets. From the bottom recess to the top groove or the bottom lip to the groove? Right now I have .035 between the cam and follower(with the factory springs and tappets). I am not going for big power so I'm not changing out the hydraulic lifters, they work fine for my application. I have already taken them apart and cleaned them.
  24. Posted in wrong section. Sorry!!
