  1. With all the recent postings I was hoping to get some help trying to read out my Flow sheet. I picked off this head from Yahoo Auctions Japan. It was completely bare missing cam towers and about everything else. All I could tell from the photos was that it had been ported and that it had welded chambers. I decided to risk it and put a bid in knowing full well I might have just bought a new paperweight. I finally got it back from a reputable builder with new seats, Datsun Spirit Big valves and some unfurling of the valve area. I was told that different flow benches are like dynos. It seems that the flow bench used for this head maxes out at 160 cfm at 10 inches of water. Not sure how this coverts to newer type flow benches that read at 20 inches etc. Also not sure how this relates to max lift on the cams?
  2. Does going with lighter rods matter or is it a half ass approach at getting a lightened rotating assembly?
  3. I was thinking of maybe going this route with my bottom end since there are so much risk with running the stroker crank. Would really like to find someone who has this done already so I can get more info on it.
  4. Did you ever get the power issues figured out?
  5. Isn't there a reset procedure for the throttle bodies, I've read those tend to get out whack, maybe its affecting your idle?
  6. Everything I have always heard is that the money is in the head work when it comes to unlocking HP in L Series engines. There are 300 hp race engines still on 2.8 liters.
  7. Your overpaying if you buy from T3, there is a guy in the Miata forums and facebook that sells them for around 1600 iirc.
  8. The Kameari head is worth around 5K maybe less if you buy it directly from Kameari since the dollar is strong.
  9. Surprised they haven't just reverse engineered the kameari crank.
  10. Most guys that go VQ35 do the wiring from Z fever which comes with an Osirus UPrev license. No need for megasquirt.
  11. Yeah, I will shoot him in an email.
  12. I know it might be a long shot but I am looking for a pump body assembly for Mikuni 44PHH.
  13. Which vendor did you use for the wiring harness nats delete?
  14. Looking for a complete triple linkage, preferably used.
  15. Your best shot is yahoo japan. OER ran out of stock of 50s. I went through a proxy, www.jauce.com with good success.
  16. They sell with the axles, normally see them from 600 on up.
  17. Are those Jenvey or OBX itbs?
  18. Your best shot is to buy them through a proxy. Yahoo japan auctions has them from time to time. Try www.jauce.com.search solex.
  19. I have 3 sk carbs. They are in the for sale section.
  20. I wish you luck but every Z i have seen on yahoo japan auctions are asking for way more than that.Even for rollers. S30s command a premium in Japan.
  21. I do, they are in the for sale section here.
  22. I know it might be a long shot but I am trying to find an extra push rod and TWM branded arm to complete the linkage on a TWM intake.
  23. No problem, not quite the size you were looking for but sure they will fit correctly. The 50mm tall ones should fit under the tall type k&n filters also.
  24. You can still get them new from OER. http://lupinusflower.ocnk.net/product/22. They are about 30 dollars each + shipment. You want the Dia.44(45)mm-50mm. The other option you have is the techno toy ones. https://technotoytuning.com/nissan/240z/velocity-stacks-carbs 270 for the set.
