To be honest This is my 2nd hy35. I had to put 2 rear oil seals in the 1st that I cooked,( welded the seal to the shaft) and I'm on my 2nd in this one.( by seal I put new bearings in also) I got the gt35r because its a bad ass turbo, and longevity. The coolant cooled part really sold me. I think the HY35 is made for a 600? deg diesel motor, not 1300?? deg gas motor? I think I was asking too much of the HY, and I hope the GT can take it. I'm running the '87 300zx turbo LSD rear. 2 hours south to Temple. I should of called someone down there because the car was feeling great. But it was Xmas eve. night:icon_frow

I think your setting of 150% is telling MS 50%????? I remember in the decel setting 100% was the base line, or zero setting. Saying this, you should see a 50% change though? Not sure why your not.

I thought I had a picture? The turbo piston ring land areas are different from N/A dished pistons. I believe the distance from the top of the piston to the 1st ring is longer on the turbo piston, and each space between each ring is larger than N/A dished pistons. I found what Gollum says to be true. The N/A has too much of a CR. I ran 20 lbs, with timing at about 12deg?? pig rich, and still had detonation. On my true turbo motor now, I can run 16lbs, at 11.5 afr, and 20deg timing. After that the meth starts spaying.
