Thanks for the info guys, I'm almost done putting the Holset HY35 turbo in. I'll start and run the car just for a bit on the stock turbo ecu. Then I'm getting MS 1 v3.0 Then look out........

Oh, so there is one cable going from the MS ecu to the relay board, then from there you run wires for the different sensors, and stuff. So Matt you think MS 1 would be fine with the v3.0 (board?) I just need fuel, spark, and to use my Supra 440 injectors on my turbo Z.

Thanks, thats a good read. I wont be at the 500hp mark, I'm hoping for at least 350hp. But everything on my car is about 3" from turbo to TB. So what the heck I guess I'll go with the 3" pipe?? How much hp at the crank is 350 whp? would crank hp be what you would use? or would it be fly wheel hp?

I've been reading diyautotune.com and learning what I can before I buy a MSnS system. I am in the middle of my Holset hy35 install, and my hudge 24x12x3 intercooler. I also have some supra 440cc injectors to throw in. I want to go megasquirt, but I want to make sure I get the right one??I think I want to get the MS II pcb v3, and a relay board, and a stimulator?????? Is that the latest greatest version?? I want to control fuel, and spark. man I'm so confussed some one slap me, and then tell me if this is the right choice. I'm also going to put it all together so it shoud cost about $362 minus cables, sensors, and shipping. Thanks for any help guys.

I got it from a wrecking yard, and yes the t-3 is out the door. I'm putting on my P90 head, holset, big i/c. Now I'm looking for MSnS so I can hook up my supra 440 injectors baby!!

upgrade to 3" I got a new turbo, new i/c so I need new plumbing.

the outlet on the hy35 is 3" OD and about 2.75" ID and my T/B is a 60mm Webber. Its 70mm at the opening, but then tapers to 60mm at the butterfly. I could have the i/c modified, but the silicone 90's are alot cheaper. They are the 4 layer silicone with the webbing stuff inside.

I bought a holset hy35, and I've also got a 24x12x3 intercooler with 3" inlet & exit. would 3" mandrel bent tubing for the i/c plumbing be too big? I would use the 2 1/2 but I'm having trouble finding a silicone 90 deg 3" to 2 1/2" reducer for the intercooler. To make the intercooler fit I have to make a tight 90 bend at the in and out of the i/c I found a 3" silicone 90 bend for about $15 each, they want about $35 each for the reducer type.

I sprayed the lub on the gears, now the clock is about 2-3 hrs fast every day?
