IM in fort hood during the week, and dont have wheels now, im rebuildin the motor in my '69 chevy truck as we speak. My shop is 2 blocks from jerry;s place, and All of his cars are covered in rust. Theres a very light yellow one that he wont sell me, says its a "customers" been there 8 monthes, that ones rust free... the z car club dosnt have any for sale in my range. Also, the cowtown z car club, the classifieds, theres nothing in them, its empty no luck there. my number is 817.798.8908 Pass it you if you will, im serious about that Im lookin to get a 240, 260, or 280. I dont care about the driveline, and the interior, needs to be there, and as little rust as possible, and im pretty tight on $$ something around 1,500

Guys, i have been searching, and searching, and havnt come up with jack All im askin for is a 240, 260, or 280 with a GOOD body, and decent interior, i care nothing about the drivetrain, or wheels, or anything like that, and lookin to spend around $1,500, and i havnt found crap in the area, can anyone freakin help me out? someones gotta have a lead for me I live in fort hood on the weekdays (army man) and fort worth on the weekends (family man)

Uh, it dosnt really have anything to do with power, i just really like to see high oil pressure, my '69 chevy runs at about 65lbs, (not sayin that really high) and its a mellin high volume. I think lubrication is very important, and its only $20, gives a pretty good piece of mind. But, you dont wanna buy a really high volume one, like outa jegs or summit, because those can pump so fast, that all the oil will be in your oil valley (below you intake) and it pumps so fast, its all up there, and theres none in the pan, its sucked dry. Just stick to melling, buy one at the zone or o'rielly's You live in midland? im in fort hood, thats pretty close to you, you know of any z's for sale in your area? i am dying to buy one. wanna spend less than 2k

that should be very streetable, i run a comp 280H cam (a tad more radical ) and 11.1 compression... and a 4speed with 3.42 rear end (this is in my '79 malibu) i have no problems on the street. you shouldnt either

Ok, so last sunday is was going back to Fort Hood, sleeping of corse.. My dad has an '04 chevy diesle, and it shows his average economy. He is completly ubsessed with it. He has started drivin 55mph EVERYWHERE. It stays around 21mpg, but was at 19.4 due to some recent trailer pullin So he wakes me up, and says look at that z, im like "wow, nice" He says, "no look its right hand drive" Soo, im like "duh, catch it" the turbo spools up, and where doin about 90mph catchin this guy the z's rollin about 80mph (the normal flow for i-35) He finally catch this joker, and i set my phone to multy shot, hung out my back window, and snapped a couple, i was gonna get more, but my phone was full. What a bad time to discover that phones can fill up with pictures.. the guy driving was lovin the attention we slowed to 55 again, and my dad was crushed, just that dropped his average mpg to 18.4 hahaha. So the mirrors above the wheel, does that mean its a fairlady? has anyone seen another right hand drive? If this is a right hand drive fairlady, its gotta be mega rare. Anywho, i have never seen one of these, and was soo happy too.. What do you guys think?

Chassis fab, and HI-PO engines Collision/refinishing(mainly for the painting aspect, i could do a bitchen flame job, i dont know if this class ic right for me) Street rod, and custom fab (a class called street rod, what more could you ask for) and Trim and Upholstery, IM gonna look into uti tho.

well, since in gonna have a little bit of GI BILL $$ laying around, i thought about a tech school, some ppl suggested UTI, i considered WyoTech. in your opinion, is uti and betteR? whats the pros and cons compared to wyo? thanks man. Also, wheres uti at?

yeah, i noticed that too, i was thinkin,g maybe they opened a door, or a window, and let more of the noise in, Or they coulda have changed something with the exhaust, which isnt too likly on a dyno, i can always e-mail the ppl that the provided the video.

wait, $160 each, like each little piece? i have no idea about chromin, but that sounds way expensive. I could powder coat them black for less than that. but, then again, i'd have to blacken the rear one too, which would be about as expensive as the chroming, damn hot roddin.

I had the idea, or maybe i saw it somewhere, i forget, for wink bumpers. like they had on '70 1/2 camaro's. Where its just 2 little short bumpers, so the grill is 100% exposed. Does anyone have any pics with a wink bumpers on a z? Anyone know how much re chroming costs?

Sorry about the repost, i was just amazed. I have on seen 2 hybrids in person, and only 2 actually driving, and those have been in video's i still cant get over the shock of how dman fast they are.
