  1. Mine is edis6. (also easier to set up than I anticipated). So I do not know
  2. Carmel valley, west end of the 56 off te 5
  3. You've got a pm. I thought I worked Sunday but I do not, so I'm definitely down to help out
  4. Small text update. I got my passenger floor replaced yesterday and got the bad dog rails in. Unfortunately I didn't have the steel I needed to make the seat mount so that gets to wait. Luckily once that's all said and done I can start wiring this breezy and get her running again
  5. Megasquirt wiring is actually extremely straightforward. I was on the same boat when I did mine, but the actual wiring took me an afternoon or so to do. It's the chassis wiring and the lc1 that's been giving me headaches
  6. That'd be cool. What's the addy for the shop?

  7. I'll hit you up. I may be able to head down Friday Are you gonna be in cbad in the morning? Theres a car show at the outlet mall by the 5 on Palomar airport rd from 7-9am. If you'll be there that early you should swing by
  8. Not sure on the specifics as its been a month r so since ive done anything with it. The board is an msII v3.0. The motor is an l28et stock longblock, t3/t4 with a 14psi wg, ka24 tb and supra 440 injectors. The exu wiring is done I just need to fix a few things, the cars wiring is out and due to be replaced any day now
  9. There are actually two being built IIRC, the only mods were the DOHC D side footbox panels and i believe some mods to the firewall, but otherwise it fit just fine. hood clearance is probably an issue but hey, superchargers look awesome Are you gonna be working on it saturday? if so i may swing out then.
  10. I did find one, but I've had to fiddle with it a lot just to get it To run the way it does now Yes I have a wideband. The reason I like someone to help ou is that there are a lot of parameters that I am unsure of and I have a sneaking suspicion that this entire process would e easier with someone who knows what they're doing
  11. I just read through this thread getting extremely jealous, and then read that you were in san diego, and am now more than jealous. I absolutely LOVE the type 65, and have even made plans to Build one out of my terminator if it ever gets crashed (which is the first and only time ive ever been inclined to hope some retard would pull out in front of me in that car) Where are you at in SD? if you dont mind id love to come check out the project one of these days. Edit: on the topic of SC500 vehicles, i always heard horror stories of having to camp out at the DMV on new years to get them because they flew through them on the 1st, good to know they are at least lasting until February nowadays
  12. Hey guys. Simple question really. Is there anybody in Socal (North county san diego to be way more exact) Who has the time, knowledge and desire to help a brother out setting up a tune for an L28et. Its not of gigantic importance at the moment, as the car is lacking wiring, but sometime in the future im going to have to get this thing drivable, and i don't think i have the ability to get a decent tune going, at least not easily. not without any prior knowledge or experience. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to meet up once my car is running and give me a hand getting a decent tune set up? To be clear, ideally id go get it dynotuned somewhere, but i just flat don't have the cash for that, and TBH i think the money is better spent elsewhere at this point, and would like to just get her running good with a street tune, but it will happen down the line. (im willing to compensate for gas and such, if no one immediately local is availible, but along the same lines of the dynotune, i dont want to be paying out the rectum for it either, if everyone is going to try to extort me, then ill buckle down and do it myself) TBH im thoroughly expecting a TS migration, but on the off chance this hasn't been discussed and doesn't piss off the mods, I'm curious to see who's out there. (I have the car idling and revable, and the car is able to move under its own power, just cant go into boost)
  13. i was planning on using the heat shield on mine, but it interfered with my wastegate (Aftermarket internal) In retrospect i could have just cut a hole in the damn thing, and i probably will if i have heatsoak issues

  15. i have heard it both ways, my train of thought is that is more metal that can absorb it and pull it into the entire intake, especially because of the fact that the webs are almost in contact with the exhaust manifold. Yes its less metal to dissapate heat, but its less metal to absorb it as well
  16. do you have a sound clip? thats my exact setup (except my muffler is under the car) and im curious as to what it sounds like
  17. I started with that same exact manifold, heres what mine looks like now. I wanted a non EGR, non webbed intake, but i dont like spending money. I used a cutoff wheen to cut out all the large chunks, and a grinder with a 60 grit flap wheel to smooth it out. The top is a bit wavy, but it looks aight. Welding was done with a spool gun on my mig welder. the wrinkle coat didnt come out as good as i would have liked, but it will suffice.
  18. It depends...usually Fridays since traffic isn't as bad.

  19. Small update. I finished my Floor mount pedals. Essentially its a Pedal box built out to just behind the wheel to fit the master cylinders. They are all bled and working, and they feel damn good. Next thing to do is going to be replacing the passenger floor and then i can move onto wiring the car. Here are some pics Heres another shot with the Front valence Ass Shot This is my Rear logo. Its actually a 350z rear badge, with the 5 and 3 switched and the 5 upside down to read more like an S. if you cant see what i was getting at with it, well then, youre dumb. Im not sure i am going to keep it, but i kind of like the way it looks and lastly, a couple pics of the pedals. They sit a bit closer than the stockers, but with the wheel being closer as well, its nothing that cant be dealt with, and are pretty comfy. I cut the gas pedal off and welded a 1" peice of square tubing between it and the rod, as well as moved it to the left to make Heel-Toe downshifting easier, all the pedals are going to be easily usable and feel good. And a blurry full drivers interior shot,
  20. i know that feeling bro, at least yours is running though
  21. Off Scripps and Stowe at Geico. I usually drive the Z once a week to work...kinda cool being the only Z in the lot haha
