  1. Are these what you are looking for? They do plug into the PCM. The picture from the previous post is to show you how the connector come apart.
  2. Danno, I will send them out tomorrow morning. I don't remember how I open up the connector but I do have a picture with it opened. Hopefully it helps you a bit. If you can't get it open let me know. I can look at my connector and refresh my memory and I can tell you how to open it up.
  3. I think it's a bad idea to tell them how much you bought the header for. They might use this price to come up with their own price comparable to this price. IMO. The header should be on its way out to John in a day or 2. I need to find thick cardboard to pack this header. V.
  4. I should have some extra pins I removed from my connector. PM me to let me know how many do you need exactly and I will try to locate them.
  5. I am selling my turbo header. I will take the highest offer. PM me. Picture of my header is on page #2 and here is another picture I will be receiving this one soon too and I am selling it. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=18954 Vinh
  6. You don't have to change the speedo gear since both cars have the same gear ratio in the rear end.
  7. For something like this you will need a scanner to read the DTC from the PCM. This will save you all the time from messing around replacing parts and second guessing yourself. Jump on Ls1tech and find out anyone lives near you has a scanner you can borrow to read the DTC off the PCM. GL
  8. Check or replace the small black module under the passenger seat. GL
  9. it doesn't require that much work to eliminate the gap. Just ask Guy.. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=119802&highlight=Vinhzxt%27s+mod Yes I like this one better than the type II one
  10. I just got back from a trip to Viet Nam and I got my ZX head light covers' chrome trims made.. Enjoy
  11. I am cleaning out my garage. I am selling my kit. Please contact me if you want it. Sorry I can't help you guys out.
  12. Sam, Let put yourself in my position and let see you will do it or not. I bought the kit for $400 from Japan and hand carried it back to the US. This is a rare kit and no one has it in the US and I am sending it away for reproduction .. huh.. why on earth do I want to do that right? In addition I have to put my own money out to pay for the shipping charge and I don't get anything out of this. Plus I am taking a risk of not seeing the kit again. I could have easiliy thrown this kit on ebay and get $600 or more for it and be done with it. What I want to do is for all the guys who are definitely interest in the kit to put down a small amount of deposit. This would atleast cover the cost for shipping of the kit to 280Zone and to make it worth while for 280Zone to even start the work on this kit. I mentioned that this kit will require a lot of work before the mold can be pulled. I don't want this thing to end up like the IMSA 5 pieces kit group buy. I don't want 280Zone or anyone else to go thru all the trouble to build the mold and then only 5 people buy the kit. So if you are serious then send me a $20 deposit. Only if I have what I think is enough serious interest then I will send the money and the kit to 280Zone to start the process. Otherwise I will not waste my time and send money back to all of you. Sound good? PS. If you don't trust your money with me you can PM Pete P., EvilC, 1TuffZ, qwik240z , slownrusty, VRJoe.
  13. I am boxing up the kit this weekend. sorry I've been so busy with other works and couldn't get to it.
  14. I've been searching and found a few options for the trunk lift: http://www.illinoislock.com/cam_locks.asp?id=605 and this http://www.knobsandhardware.com/products/view.aspx?sku=1273579&linkLoc=catalog Search on the above site for "finger pull" and you can find more cool stuff. They have more types of hooks that can be used on the trunk and look good. I personally like the ring hook better.
  15. It has to be something simple that you've missed. Did you check the powers to your PCM during both RUN and CRANK? Disconnect the Blue connector and check for battery voltage at pin 20. Turn the key to run and crank and check for 12V at pin 19. PS. Clive had the same symptoms/problem on his LS1 swap. He found out later that I screwed up on the wiring for the Ignition input to the PCM. It has power only in the RUN position but not during cranking and that was the problem that the car didn't start. GL.
  16. If you move the starter to the other side on your swap it looks like you can use these headers http://www.sandersonheaders.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_23_35&products_id=173 with the JCI mounts.
  17. Your problem seems like a wiring issues and not the PCM. It's not the crank sensor because you have sparks. Your grounds for the PCM, are you using pin 1 and 40 from both connectors? You need to use pin 1 and 40 from both connectors. If you didn't cut open the original harness all the ground wires for the PCM should be spliced in together already at the Inline Harness connectors. It's not the VATs either. The next question is how do you run your fuel system? Someone on here ran his fuel system incorrectly awhile back and couldn't get his car started. GL.
  18. Something is wrong with your injector circuit. Event if you didn't disable the VATs and everything hooked up correctly you should be able to start it for a few seconds. Turn the key to RUN and check for 12V to the pink wires on all the injectors. The PCM sends ground signals out to trigger the injectors. GL. PS. the injectors don't die all at the same time The power feed for the injectors is at connector C100 pin A - Pink wire.
  19. Here are a few pictures: More pictures on this site http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2079260/2 That's my friend's Cobra where I used JCI and JTR headers. On my swap I've made my own mounts and used the 97-98 C5 headers. I have info on my site above on how to modify them to fit. Sorry I don't have picture of the driver side but I was able to use most of the stock pipes on this side. I THINK they should work with JCI mounts but not 100% sure. The driver side I am 100% sure it will fit. The passenger side is where I am not sure. It's all depends on how thick the JCI mount is on that side. I can do some measurements on my friend's Cobra and mine to make sure if anyone interest. GL
  20. You are missing the early C5 SS headers. I used them on my LS1 swap. For more info check on my web site.
  21. When I installed the Recaro seats in my friend's 280Z I had to massage the tunnel to move the seats further inward to clear the wing and the door. The seats look good. Thanks for all the pictures
