  1. I agree a fair price for such a rare piece, anyone from here buy it? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to be revealed. The new owner will still need to make up their own turbo downpipes and work out the intake pipework to the turbos. I'd be interested to learn if this kit originally came with Nissan T3s. They look rather big for it all to fit within an S30 bay. Discounting the fact that it will have to be fitted to a RHD vehicle, unless you are prepared for some serious mods to the steering linkage.
  2. Thanks for the feedback guys. I just thought of ebay and found these drill bits - cheaper then I had thought, what do you guys think? This one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/25MM-HSS-DRILL-BIT-METAL-WOOD-AND-PLASTIC-25-MM-/270602377371?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item3f0128989b or this one: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/25MM-Metal-Hole-Saw-Set-Hex-Wrench-Twist-Drill-Bit-Tool-/150571054371?pt=UK_Home_Garden_PowerTools_SM&hash=item230ebbf523
  3. Guys, I need to drill a 1" hole into the headlight backplate bowl, I am guessing that i need to buy a stepper drill bit? I am finding it difficult to find a stepper drill of that size, and ones close to 1" are quite pricey, at least over here in the UK. Is there an easier way of doing it neatly and what would be the best method of going about this considering the headlight backplate bowel is convex shaped. I don't have a bench drill either. Thanks.
  4. Looking for a short mikuni manifold for triples, must have all the correct linkages in good working order. Thanks,
  5. I have a similar issue, oly my low beams work. I've been told it's a bad earth. I've looked at the wiring diagram and by the look of it I need to check the earth at the combi switch, could be bad contacts there. You may want to give that a try.
  6. Thank you, I think that is what I am looking for.
  7. I'm using an aftermarket EMS in my 240Z, currently my stock tacho works as it's wired to the coil but I'd like to see if I can modify it and have it run by the "Tacho" Auxilary output on my EMS, but this only produces a 0-12V pulse and can only drive a low level tachometer. Has anyone tried to modify the stock tacho to accept a low level signal? I have a spare 240Z tach and a 280Z tach to play with, would be great to hear how I could go about it. Thanks.
  8. Guys, I need to purchase a performance clutch for my 240Z. Been looking at the ones SPEC has to offer, I was on their website tonight checking out the options and for an additional $199 they offer a billet aluminium pressure plate. What are your opinions on this, I am already running a lightweight Fidanza Flywheel - my thoughts were that it's good to have some rotating mass and maybe this billet pressure plate along with my lightweight flywheel will make the car harder to drive? I like my car to be streetable (if that's the right word) i.e to feel fairly refined. Thanks,
  9. Interesting vantage, I am quite a novice in this field and did not think that could be possible to take the cam position reading from the distributor, but what you say makes sense. So how would you set the Optronics or the Petronix to know where the cycle ends, I understand the slit will denote the start, or is that your ECU's job?
  10. Has anyone fitted a camshaft position sensor to an L Series engine? My plan is to go fully sequential, I already have a trigger wheel fitted to my crankshaft and have LS1 Individual coil packs, just need to figure out the cam shaft sensor, so my ecu will know at what cycle the engine is in. Advice, tips etc.. appreciated.
  11. Found it now, thanks. For some reason the pop up box wasn't working for me that day, all good now.
  12. I can't find a link on the home page for private messages? The link use to be on the top right near my username but it doesn't appear there now.
  13. Looking to purchase a Type 2 HKS Surge tank.
  14. Are you using the OEM cork gasket? Use a cork gasket with the OEM Sump as it's designed to compress. You may also need to make sure that the mating surface of your pan is flat.
  15. Hi, I never got as far as mounting it to carbs to try, it's going to be tight as it sits 8" high and there is always the chance it will foul the bonnet. You may have more room with a 280ZX bay, it's designed for the cavenous bay of the C110. I would really like to see someone use this.
  16. Guys, this is for sale photos are from my ebay ad: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rare-HKS-Turbo-Surge-Tank-C110-Ken-and-Mary-L20-L24-L28_W0QQitemZ200454456996QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2eac0446a4 Rare indeed, I am sad to see this go, willing to ship this worldwide and I will be posting the costs on the ebay ad. Thanks.
  17. Hi, I'm looking for a set of 4 (or 5) Panasport street wheels in the following size: 16" x 7" +6offset. Thanks,
  18. Most people cut open the plenum part of the intake manifold due to the difficulty of getting tools to go back into the runners, they then weld it back up once they've done their boring.
  19. Allan, Nice to hear from you and I'm very grateful for your offer. I have a VHS player but I'm not sure if it can handle NTSC format, the manual was lost years ago! I will try and do some searching on the model number and if it does I'll get back to you. Thanks
  20. I would buy it too if it were still produced. I am guessing it isnt. Look how old this VHS video is, I'd be surprised if the company that produced it is still in business.
  21. I stand corrected, thank you Sir.
  22. Something that Nissan Comp would make would be cast, not welded together. Take a look at the Arizona pan pics and use as a guide to design your tray.
