  1. I think this is referred to as draw through set up not blow through. Looks very crude to today's standard, I much prefer the blow through systems which use an air box and the carb is located after the turbo not before.

    L28 HKS ITBs

Long shot but thought it worth a try!! Trying to recreate my own Wangan Midnight Z. Anyone have the period HKS ITB set up for sale?
  3. Hi, I'm after one of these in good condition. Here's how it looks like: The one on the left is the one I want. Thanks.
  4. Yasin - Looks like a lot of thought and research has gone into the white one for sure. They both look awesome man!
  5. I want Watanabe wheels also, mainly due to the period look so I know where you're coming from even if they do cost an arm and a leg. My next step is to decide what finish will go best with my paintwork; gunmetal, silver or black and what width rim and offset to go for. Shika - where did you get yours from and do you have photos of them on the car?
  6. Try putting a wanted ad on this forum or posting one here too http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/whls_wanted1.html
  7. They really aren't worth very much at all due to their size, I believe these looks like 14", and the fact that you only have 3 doesn't help. I also don't think they'd be worth much as a complete set of 4. There is currently a similar style on ebay which are in excellent condition and the buy it now price is only 100USD. Personally I do like this style of wheel and have purchased a similar set, with a 7" wide diameter for my Z. I was lucky to find tyres for them but they weren't easy to source by any means.
  8. Awesome! Thank you for your help.
  9. Is it just me or doesn't it seem as if he nearly loses control at the start as he warms up the tyres?
  10. Hi all, Any idea who makes these wheels and what style they are? Would they have come in 15" or 16" ? I'm liking them a lot.
  11. Thanks for the reply, I already have a set of 14" and want larger diameter 15 or 16".
  12. Looking for these wheels in 15" or 16" in diameter. 240Z-280ZX bolt pattern. Let me know what you have. Here is the style I'm after, (but with 240Z-280ZX bolt pattern). Thanks. George
  13. That's a good question. I've heard that they do dim the standard Z lights significantly but that shouldn't be a problem with the light you'll be throwing out. Would be good to do what forrest suggest one pre light covers and one with. Glad it's worked out for you.
  14. Evan, I thought copper was a good material for gaskets. I've got an old turbo kit I'm restoring and can't find the correct wastegate gasket, NLA, so was thinking of making my own copper one. I guess you don't recommend it then. Out of curiosity why is copper inferior then?
  15. Hi, If you're talking about head to block bolts then ARP stuff are very good quality. If you mean exhaust manifold studs, then Pallnet (user on this site) sells a kit with all the studs and nuts you'll require. Here's a link to his site: http://www.hammondsplains.com/z/zworld/pallnet/index.htm Scroll to the bottom for hardware kits.
  16. Have you looked into specialist turbo silicone hose suppliers?
  17. Still looking, just to clarify I'm after the Type 2 version.
  18. That's looking very cool indeed!!
  19. Great news! I was getting worried that progress had hampered! Pics when it's ready please!
  20. I am looking at modifying a carb intake manifold to efi, can anyone point me in the right direction in finding a compact injector, ie. one which doesnt take too much space (the manifold is short in width) and I need to fab a balance tube on it also. In terms of injector bosses, what's out there are they all generic? Any help appreciated. Thanks,
  21. Any more progress on this? Keep up the good work.
