  1. This came off an old school external HKS Wastegate. Any idea as to where I can buy a new one? Thanks
  2. Is that a stock flange on that turbo?
  3. Came across this catalogue which helps identify different flanges and thought it may be useful to some of you. Sadly I couldn't find the one I was after. Click here for the catalogue Here's the flange I was looking for, any idea where to get one?
  4. I agree Pete and qudos to you, I am just trying to find an easier way for me as I'd like to do this to a triple manifold. I found this little gadget during my research and I had never seen it before, it may help fire the injectors directly into the head port even if the injectors were mounted vertically. Anyway, I am digressing now..
  5. Z-YA awesome work. What made you splice an efi intake and mate onto the SU intake, when you could have just drilled and welded injector bosses into the SU intake? SDS sell these .. Just wondering, that's all. Keep up the good work.
  6. Well I am looking for 15", 7" wide Turbine, Cyclone wheels (I think Appliance may have made them) as well as an old School HKS Wastegate. I know there's always the wanted ads, but do all sellers check that?
  7. I was wondering if this could be considered for the future? Just like ebay allows you to set favourite searches for items, can the "for sale" section also have this facility? I am looking for some elusive parts and it would be great to get an automatic email when the search words I am looking for come up. Just an idea. Thanks.
  8. That would make sense. Thanks Naviathan. While I'm here I have a question on the 12V+ source. The megamanual says "make sure you have a 12V supply in both the run and crank positions". Can I just take a 12V+ from the battery and hook it straight to the round 12V + connector on the relay board? Thanks for your patience guys, I really am not a wiring guy.
  9. I did and it still did not light up.
  10. This is taken from the Megamanual, under the chapter on the relay board:
  11. By the way, I never made myself clear in the first post. My test light isnt a normal one with just a bulb in it, it has a bulb and a battery. One end is a pointer and the other a crocodile clip, when you touch the pointer with the crocodile clip the light comes on, which means a circuit is present. here is a crude diagram of what I did, now shouldnt the light have come on? Thank you
  12. Sorry if this is a nooby question but what is the difference between a 12V and a 12V +?
  13. I am starting to wire up my MS to the relay board. I have a circuit test light and when I touch the 12V power terminal for the relayboard and then the 12V + injector terminals I'm surprised the light doesn't come on. I thought that these were all connected and a circuit should have been formed. I thought that there is constant power going to the 12V + terminals for the injectors as they are driven by Inject 1 and Inject 2 negative terminals. Thanks,
  14. As always Tony, hearing your first hand experience is always welcome and appreciated. One question, I was thinking of just running it with a rear muffler and missing the resonator, do you think it will be too loud? I keep hearing guys say that the turbos drone some of the noise. There is even a Turbo FAQ Sticky on this very website which recommends not using a resonator.

Hello my Norwegian friend. May I please refer you to www.zclub.co.uk , a UK based club for these cars. They can offer you advice on where to purchase one, we even have a classifieds section where you can post what you are looking for. You will probably find the shipping rates from the UK to Norway more favourable then from the US. You can even speak to a guy called Mike Feeney, www.mjpauto.co.uk , he runs a parts store in the UK and he can get hold of anything for you, including a complete exhaust system and headers too. His number is: +44 (0)1277 374201. Best of luck.
  16. Hey Tony thanks for that. I did some searching and came across a thread you posted a while back about this setup. Good to know you endorse it! I can't see myself finding a Trust/Greddy one but I will see if i can get something made up. Many thanks.
  17. Jon, that is on my agenda for the future.
  18. Hi all, I'd like to do something a bit different and I was thinking of possibly getting the MSA twice pipes make a "Y" joint for my turbo downpipe and thus splitting the exhaust gases. Has anyone done this? Anyone see any potential issues? Appreciate your feedback.
  19. I'm impressed Gabe!! Kudos.
  20. I'm interested in principle, I don't get a chance to go on the forum that often so could the organise PM me when something concrete has been organised. Many Thanks.
  21. Good luck in your research, glad you are following your granpa's footsteps. And can we have some more quotes from your granpa, I was enjoying them. Big up to your granpa, once a Z man always a Z man. As for links for your research, besides the excellent ones above, also check this out: http://www.datsunzgarage.com/
  22. I guess TonyD would be one of the men to answer that one. BTW - If anybody is selling a cartech turbo plenum I have put up a wanted ad in the classifieds. (Sorry for my shameless plug).
  23. The cyclist was more entertaining.
