Rota RKR 17x8.5 +10

Recommended Posts

8.5" +10 will not fit a car with stock suspension, I highly doubt them to fit a car with 2.5" spring coil overs without spacers, but I could be wrong. I've got probably 1/4" - 1/2" clearance between the wheel and strut on factory 240z suspension with 8" wheel +0. 280z springs are larger if I am remembering correctly.

I am currently running a 17x8.5 +20mm in the rear with a 2.5 inch spring and it clears. This is with no spacer; its a very close fit, but it does fit. I had to cut a section of the weld on ring to make this work, and clears fine with regular old lead weights too.

  • 3 weeks later...

I ran a 235/60/14 tire on a 14x7 positive 2 offset wheel for years on my 280z with stock suspension (front of car), car was lowered too.

In comparison, a 17x8.5 positive offset wheel with a 225/45/17 tire is only 3mm closer to the suspension, so I am thinking that it may work :)
