TattooedTechie
Hello fellow forum members ! My name is Patrick and I just wanted to introduce myself. I joined the site a few days ago and have been scouring the forums for information to help me get my newly acquired 1972 240z up and running. I purchased it from a friend of mine that had initially taken the interior out to get the car repainted a different color. That never happened and he was too lazy to put it all back together. The car has a CSB V8 swap and a 700R4 Auto transmission. There is no rust of any kind that I can see, and the interior is in great shape. The biggest challenge for me is going to be putting the dashboard back in and wiring everything. I currently daily a 600hp Volkswagen GTI, and also own a 1991 Nissan NX2000 that I absolutely love. Here are some pics of the 240z currently. I look forward to learning more about this platform from all of you. Thanks for your time ! rossman
Welcome, that's a good looking car. I'd keep it that color. Is the rear hatch area rusted out or am I seeing things?
TattooedTechie
That is some sort of sticky adhesive or sealant actually. Luckily it is not rust
