stony
has anyone seen the new wheels were the centers spin even when the car is stopped? I saw them on a new escalade. i had to slow down and check them out. thought i was seeing things the car was barely moveing but the centers were spinning really fast. then when he stopped i figured it out. they came to a complete stop and then when he started to move the centers started spinning really slow ;> i know for sure i would never buy them but they did look cool on teh escalade. auxilary
you ain't seen nothin' until you've seen someone doing a stoppie with an R1 with the same type of rim with the spinning center
nullbound
and they've lead to such timeless lines as: "Four-thirty Lex with the convertable top And the rims keeps spinning everytime I stop"
Tim240z
I agree....way to much Bling Bling for me!
Mike C
Form follows function. Completely idiotic me thinks, but so is the very concept of the Escalade they are attached to... JMHO.
stony
good to see everyone shares my opion... they are pricy too!!!!!
j260z
Yay! just one more useless thing to break. although with a couple of illuminated valve caps and a useless neon cell antennae you could probably still outclass the escalade.
Guest ON3GO
lol i think there cool, but it has to be on something like a caddy or SUV... theres a guy in tampa with a new jag with a set of 22 or bigger? spinny rims.. i think its cool for a pimp ride to just drive but i rather have a set of 18in HRE's on my jag mike
Mudge
Enkei Kriminal 23"x10" 60 pounds, enough said. Is this what we'd call black rice? All the cost of a good wheel, minus the performance = pretend your rich. Asian folks have the fake BOV and boyee racer look = pretend your fast, mexicans have thier neon wiper blades, mud flaps and fuzzy die = confusion?, and I guess the white guys just copy thier prefered bling of choice. Yes I'm white, no I'm not a racist, it just is funny how each "rice" is different, and yet performance is not usually in the mix, just looks. j260z
60 lbs apiece!!!! even if you dumped the clutch at 7500 rpm you'd stall the car. i wonder if Ross C can make a kit with 2 toyota calipers per rotor. that's what you'd need just to stop the car at playground zone speeds. Z-TARD
I'll take a set of those in 42" please............ Bling Bling, Mike
Mudge
Yeah, get a friggin car transported to a 4x4 body already! Then we can redneck it in style... I wonder if they even talk gear swaps to make up for thier setups, that would be the icing on the cake, what a joke. I have to wonder how it feels like to, going from ~200 pounds weight in wheels/tires to around 400!
Z-TARD
I'd have to opt for the gold plated ones too. If you're gonna go pimpin, you'd better go all the way.....Maybe they make smaller versions of the wheel to hang on a chain around your neck as well. Hmmmmm. If they dont, they probably should. That would be the mad Bling Bling, Yo! Mike
