What you're looking at is a collaborative effort between Renault (market share holder of Nissan), BMW, Ford and Kikkoman. The intent was to produce a vehicle that would, in some way, appeal to a wide range of automotive enthusiasts and, simultaneously, provide a platform to subtly market their respective products. Using focus groups and relying heavily on industry speculation and demographics they decided to base the vehicle on Fords V-6 Mustang (whose relatively low cost underpinnings will dramatically reduce the time period between the conceptualization phase and final production). The vehicle concept is called the Bimstang GTR-X Type R.

The Design:

Since the vehicle would be relatively slow, and would therefore spend a majority of it's time in the rearview mirror of true performance vehicles, BMW was called upon to 'style' the front end. The crew from Bavaria wasted no time and quickly developed a visual package borrowing heavily from the new 5 and 7 series models. BMW's trademark 'kidney grill' seamlessly integrates with the large cowl induction hood making the front end scream: "Beware! I could at any time call upon the Teutonic gods and crush your _________ [insert name of super car here] like the country of France!"

The side profile of the vehicle retains the look and feel of Ford's Mustang but has been spiced up by Dearborn's own SVO unit. Vents in the front fenders act to expel hot air from the engine bay in an effort to decrease underhood temps. Side skirts reduce ground clearance and visually blend the front fascia with the sides and rear of the vehicle. Implementing this feature successfully was no small task and the SVO team worked closely with BMW designers to ease the transition.

The side scoops on the rear quarter transform the otherwise visually bland shanks of the Mustang and provide a means to cool the massive 10 inch rotors behind the Mustang's stock wheels (which have an enormously strong fan-base in the US. Remember those demographic studies we discussed earlier?).

The rear of the car was turned over to Kikkoman's marketing team (Kikk Works). Since the car would be light to moderately quick the team decided to create a look that would visually appeal to the top end of the demographic base… low income Honda tuners. Any Honda owner approaching the concept on the highway, from the rear, can instantly recognize the styling passion and methodologies that went into the Kikk Works design. The parts used to transform the rear of the concept were easily sourced from a number of US high performance tuning companies and are readily available from the aftermarket. Through theoretical, Gran Turismo 4, simulation the rear wing is said to generate enormous amounts of down force.

Nissan has been keeping their lips firmly sealed on their involvement in the project, but insiders say that Nissan may be giving us a glimpse of what we might expect from their next project: the Skyline GTR.

When, and if, the Bimstang GTR-X Type R will go into production is uncertain. What is certain, though, is that the car already has a legion of fans behind it. A website has been dedicated to the concept and can be found at http://WWW.Riceboypage.com.

What the f are you on dude???? That is a LOT of creativity... :)

I'm on 2 hours sleep and I've lost track of the quantity of consumed caffienated drinks. Surprisingly... I was feeling quite creative.

how long did that take to type/make up?

About 30 minutes... broken up between a couple tooling designs I'm working on.

Here's a little tidbit of info on that HP Figure and that specific car... The late 90s/ early 2000s Mustang GT was a PIG at about 3400#! IF he is making 300HP, there is not a chance in hell that TURD will hit 60 in under 5 seconds...Without the aid of a very steep cliff.:lmao: Now maybe he has the car stripped out, but I doubt it. Here's why: Most of these confused car wannabees aren't gonna be without their sound system with requesit 18inch DUAL subs, amps, boxes and WEIGHT. AND this guy probably wants the ULTIMATE bling factor, so you know somewhere hidden in all that mess are about 4 DVR screens, a play station and other mobile video CRAP. All that wonderful entertainment on four wheels SCREAMS LOOK AT ME :lmao: while adding even MORE weight to that turd... Nice polishing though! :2thumbs:

And you know our man did NOT take out the A/C and condensor, plumbing and associated lines/ gear to save weight, cause when he is pimpin' at the hang out, he has to keep his shirt wrinkle free and fresh for the ladies YO!

Bottom line is the boy obviously has multiple personality disorders, and he tells fibs! :lmao:
