Z-gads 2jz Z Bob H's g-nose purple car Jamie T's car he is building Chris's blue Z here in houston.. well now dallas (leaving me!!) The unibody, fenders, doors, and hatch are ALL the same on ALL 70-78 Zcars, excepting the rear vent on the 70-71 hatch. Sparks280zt Posted July 23, 2005 Share Posted July 23, 2005 The diff in the 240 and 280 door is the inner support structure. The 240 door is much lighter but other than that they appear the same. The reason a 240 door wont bolt onto a 280 is because the latching system is different. However I personally have early 260z doors on my 76 280z.
