johnc
The nice vs. rice question is usually answered by weight. 20lbs or less, nice. Over 20lbs, bling bling!
Mudge
Yep, they look nice, but how much do they weigh, and are they real 3 peice or fake.
SleeperZ
If they are bigger than 17", RICE! But that's a nice looking wheel.
Oltmann
American Racing doesn't make real 3-piece wheels AFIK, and they typically weigh >20lbs in 17" applications. There's your answer.
spdsk8r
That's the look I was thinking of for my 79, in 17".

Mudge
I assume its an 8" wide wheel? If it were a 9" and 23 pounds or less I'd go for it. Fake 3 peices though, blech. I want a little styling, but functionality and lack of fake addons, why add weight to the damn thing putting dress up crap on there.
RPMS
I like them. I think I'd like them even more if they were recessed another inch or so. The faux bolts don't bother me too much, as long as they don't fall out like the phony rivets in my truck's wheels are doing! Nothing screams RICE! like having your imitation fasteners fall out. CruxGNZ
Nice! I love the tuning fork style WHEEL . !M!
fl327
those are nice knock off rice rocket wheels. im not into em. american racing wheels too heavy, three piece wannabes with no lip? heck naah.
tdab
I think the rims are cool, but they are not my style. I like the rims on a Z car to show the lugs (or at least the holes). Thats just me. I just got my rims from Japan this week. They are 15X7 and 15X8 and under 12 lbs each. They will bolt on to stock suspension. No tires yet, but you get the picture! Guest bang847
sorry dont like them..... it dosent match a older z... maybe on the Z32 they would look fine cuz it is a little ricey
Ivan280zt
if it was me i would paint the mesh to match car and i would also get lip polished so it would be black and polished lip. anyways very nice whell.
Guest greimann
Well I think this style looks fantastic Porsches, Corvettes and BMW's, and since actual forged 3 piece wheels (hub plus two rims) are like $550+ each, these looked to be an economical alternative. I am not a racer so weight is not an issue. They are 17x7.5 +40mm offset. I'm going to mount up 235/45-17 Yokohamas and then take some final measurements and give to Ross C. for some adapters. I'll compare the weight to my stock swasticas with 225/60-15 Yokos just for giggles. Those wheels and tires are not exactly light. And for those who don't like them, who asked ya?! ... oh I did
Tim240z
I like the center section, but would like to see the outer dish a bit deeper. Can't AR put different inner and outer sections on it to change the offset? Tim
Guest greimann
This is a one piece wheel. Fake modular. If you want to go to HRE for custom made wheels where they take a center hub and attach rims to suit your size requirements, then you pay at least $900 PER WHEEL! Sorry, my wallet aint that fat! Considering the limitations we have on wheel selection, I think this is a nice compromise.
