I said "$6,000 dude, its never going to happen." He says "lol...i find that very funny...i guess you're not the one that's going to buy, huh! i don't think you know too much about the 280ZX turbos! i've seen one go for $9500.00 on ebay and it wasn't even a turbo! ebay will be my next step." Ha! Its been on craigslist for as many months as i can remember.

S30TRBO
David, Why would you even waste your time by emailing this guy and letting him know that "it’s never going to happen"?? Couldn't you have just let him go on his merry way instead of posting a "rag on another Z seller cause he's asking too much" post? Six months from now his price will be lowered and someone will buy it. It’s very tempting to say something, however next time try to resist and let the dreamers go and move on... I could see the aniversary edition going for that much, if mint and bought buy a collector, but to put it simply... its a datsun.
turboboost
Up here in Canada a non-rusty car only comes along every so often. So, we have to jump on it.
HeatRaveR
I paid over $5k for my 280ZX Turbo without even bothering to haggle much. But at least in my case, it had less than 87k miles, was from the original owner (who was a middle aged woman), was unmodified/rust-free, had a virtually perfect uncracked *black* dash, and came with complete service records, and even the original dealer window price sheet. I wasn't counting on finding a better condition Turbo than this (and I still haven't seen a better/equal one to this day), so I have no regrets about what I paid. GI JOE[/quote'] Haha, finally someone noticed (and got) my little sig quote. For those of you who don't get it, it's a reference to those public service announcements they used to do in the 80's at the end of GI Joe cartoons. A site took those PSA's and redubbed them with some really non-sequitur results: http://www.fenslerfilm.com/PSAS.htm Specifically, my sig is in reference to this one, better known as "Porkchop Sandwiches": http://www.fenslerfilm.com/moviesF/PSAsmall/FenslerFilm_PSA07_small.mpg Or, here's a Youtube version of it:
