ArnZ
For 90K you could get the 240 and this 260Z http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-Z-Series-nissan-260z-1974datsun-260-z-show-room-new-19-000-miles-240z-280z_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6187QQihZ019QQitemZ290171677073QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
blueovalz
Wow. That's got to be the best OEM I've ever seen. I would come a lot closer to paying this price than for the red one with the aftermarket stuff. Awesome car.
datsun40146
That was a time capsul
Cruez
nice.... It had to be an automatic didn't it...
Daeron
can anyone find any flaws via photographs here?? The "worst" I could see was the TINIEST mis alignment of the hatch, like it wasn't closing QUITE enough.. and THAT is nit picking to say the LEAST... Like you said, "had to be an auto"
bluntmaster280
When i clicked this i thought was going to be that red car. But damn that 260 is clean. Im assuming the protective film on the visors came stock, no idea how the hell they kept it on so long. This car is too clean, makes me want to go throw up. Collectindust240Z
I can tell you, mine was damn near that nice when I bought it, but I was 20 and stupid, so I started modifying it. Now it's a piece of crap. But I still love it.
slownrusty
Fabulous car...wow...the owner is obviously some kind of collector based on the other Muscle in his garage. He is completely out of touch with the price though...Auto 260Z! Let's see in the past two weeks: This 260Z - $46,500 That red 240Z - $45,000 Bryan Feldman's Yellow Fever 510 - $28,300 Alex Neuman's Former SR20 510 - $29,000 Red 1 owner low mileage '67 Roadster - $28,500 So Datsuns are the new Porsche? wingnutthehutt
He has two bids so far, can't be that far out of touch. With the cost of American Muscle skyrocketing, it's only a matter of time before less common Japanese cars start to become more sought after. No one grew up with pictures of a 74 Chrysler on their walls. Well, maybe somebody, but not as many as the Z cars.
TravRMK
Hard to believe how clean that is. WOW!
getoffmyinternet
It's obviously cherry, but, no offense to anyone because I love them too, it' still a Datsun Z. If someone handed me a check for a free year's salary, I can't say I wouldn't spend it on a car, but I can say it wouldn't be on that car, or any Z for that matter. Daeron
or any Z for that matter. THAT is saying alot. 45 grand might build you an AWD 400 horse 240Z, if it were spent right by the right person
KenshinX
Is this not the same car ?????? sold for $9,000 its silver its an automatic and it has the same hubcaps and get this it has 19,270miles the Z in the auction has 19,370 hmmm drove it 100miles and now trying to make $30,000 profit GAY BS http://www.classyauto.com/v/used/Datsun+260Z/32433

KenshinX
Seems like he just cleaned it up a bit to me. This is what happens when a Z gets into the hands of the wrong kind of collector ( American muscle in his garage). I wonder what he would say if i were to send him a question with that link? lol Just a little rant from a fellow 260z owner.
pete280z
Yup. Same license plate even. But I can't blame the guy for trying to turn a profit.
240hoke
damn if that car sells for that price.... I know of a 280z in better condition then that, it even had the warning tags dangling from the sun visors. Everything mint like it came off the show room floor. He offered to sell it to me for 10K, but I thought that was too much lol.
dsommer
Looks like an EXCELLENT candidate for a V-8 conversion!!!!

wingnutthehutt
Yeah, but it still wouldn't win street machine of the year or the ridler award. Trepanier's car that won the Ridler this year cost 2M.
