junglist
So here it is ladies and gentleman, the first official photos of the '09 370Z. I for one like it. I loved my 350Z and I'm sure I'll like this one more as far as performance goes. I'm not a fan of the "tooth" look in the front grill or the L shaped head/taillights yet...but the lights will probably grow on me. I love the profile view. Heres the 3 pictures and a link: http://jalopnik.com/5070304/2009-nissan-370z-breaks-cover
m4xwellmurd3r
I don't care for the lights, but I do like the shape
speedgato
Not a fan of the light treatments. The profile is much better though, I think. I like it.
Administrators BRAAP Posted October 29, 2008 Administrators Share Posted October 29, 2008 The profile is much MUCH nicer, cleaner, flowing, contemporary. (I must be getting old).... As others have stated, the lights?... not my flavor either.
firm
As with everyone else, I'm not a fan of the lights. But everything else I think is a drastic improvement over the 350z. Baby Aston?
cygnusx1
I actually like every bit of it. I wonder if it would make a decent replacement for my WRX....probably won't get up the snowy roads, and it might be difficult to get my son in the baby seat in the back.....darn I really do like it but I can't do it at this point in my life.....darn darn darn. datsun40146
Its a nice car in profile, but those head and tail lights kill it. I don't guess it would be too hard to cut and modify the fenders to me tooth-less but how could I fix those headlights and make it look right...hmm I'll think on that. cygnusx1
I already did a photochop of it and painted the sheet metal that forms the headlight notch to look like it was part of the light and not the fender. This looked OK but not great so I deleted it.
AK-Z
I only like the mid section. I'm not a fan of the 350z style front and the rear looks like a cross between a 350z and a porsche. And I think the A, B, C pillars can be angled in more, or keep the angles and step those in about an inch or 2.
Jaspendlove
I Didn't Like The Lights When They Put Them On The New Maxima's, But When I Saw One In Person, They Looked Better Than I Thought. The Picture Doesn't Make Them Look Good At All
FlatBlack
I think it looks great except the flat-fender thing nissan is putting on all of their cars. I think it makes the wheels look smaller. I like the S30-esque rear 1/4 window though.
mason4300
Besides the headlights, the only other thing that bothers me is the window shape. Why have that angled window when the rest of the car is nice and curvy? It doesn't fit it at all...imagining it with a more classic Z shape, and it is much better. EMWHYR0HEN
I like the interior and all the instrumentations, esp. the cluster.

Still much improved over the 350. Anyone else see the BMW Z4 midsection in this Z?
AK-Z
Agreed. Still much improved over the 350. Anyone else see the BMW Z4 midsection in this Z? I see it . but a foot off the front portion
Mikelly
I like it a hell of a lot better than the current 350Z. Mike
datsun723
Good stuff! I definitely like the roof line better:biggrin:
drwharton85
At first glance it's like uhhh okkk! But after a few minutes of staring I am sucked into it's simpleness and originality with a little bit of exotic. I like it alot:icon14:
AK-Z
It need more sharper angles
