rturbo 930
Love those gauges. Saw them on a car in the for sale section and fell in love with them. Great to hear they work well too. These are definitely replacing the Autometer gauges on my list.
citjet
Thanks to this post I will be using these instead of the autometers I had planned.
Anime_fun
What color are those gauges? The cobalt blue or just the blue? I just love that color blue.
ezzzzzzz
Just blue in my Z. I felt the cobalt was going to be too hard on the eyes.
Apex944
I am definately going with a set of these gauges once the rest of the car is sqaured away. Theyre not too expensive for the quality and they all actually match unlike trying to get a set of matched autometer gauges that also have a speedo and tach in the right sizes to match... I was looking at the black face white/green lettering but it seems really dark. Hoping to keep it close to the factory green if possible. Anybody see a set in green in person? If I can't find any good examples in their green color I'll go with the black face white/white lettering.
Anime_fun
Yeah i have seen a set in green, and it looks awfully like the original green color. So go for it if you want a original look!
kj280z
I just ordered a set of the silver faced revolution gauges... In case you didn't know, these gauges can be very customized! I had them add blinker lights and a check engine light to the tach (I am replacing my tach with their unit which will be an exact match to the other gauges) I will post pics when I receive them and get them installed
JagdStealth
What size are you guys buying for the tach and speedo? They don't seem to offer bigger than 4" in the speedo, but I thought the Z used 5"?
Blitz21
Get the 4 inch. They fit in the stock housing so you have a way to mount them. A guy did a write-up on how he fit them in using a drain cap and some other rings.
ktm
My speedo and tach are just friction fit with the stock front fascia (the part that looks like a beak). The front fascia is friction fit in the dash. So far not a single issue with them moving.
ZT-R
What color are the wires that do the high beam indicator (72 240z) i am thinking it is red/white but i cant seem to get a reading off it with my voltmeter, I thought it might be because i removed all the light bulbs?
