thehelix112
Bit nerdy, but whatever. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=23061&size=big&cat=500 I'm amazed how easy it was. A shitload of duct tape, an extra nvidia card, monitors, and 5 minutes with nvidia-settings: viola. Dave
EMWHYR0HEN
Nice! I thought it was going to be your car on the ground running with a name and all. Who was I kidding this is HybridZ! Porn on one monitor is soo 1990's..

auxilary
i suppose i should take a pic of my 56" tv w/ HBZ on it in 1080p
Globerunner513
I've always liked the thought of getting a projector and displaying diagrams and such on the garage wall... Could work for HBZ too!
attworth
That's what i need at work! I've only got two 21" wide-screens. I'm years behind at my house with my 36" tube tv and my 17" lcd for the computer.
thehelix112
MonkeyT88, Cool. Whats the resolution on that? The reason I made the setup is for text real estate. It shits me not being able to see large amounts of code whilst developing. With this setup I get 3200x2400, which is enough for me atm. MoNkEyT88
1360x768 seems to work nice. Up to 1920x1080 res.
auxilary
sorry about the delay, forgot to upload it 56" of HBZ goodness in 1080p.
TrumpetRhapsody
Nice! I'm running two of those same monitor. Not as great for gaming, but awesome color reproduction. I personally prefer horizonal spanning monitors though. Unless standing, I can't see your orientation being very comfortable to use. Impressive to look at though, for sure. hogie
I hooked mine up to my 50" Samung plasma and it looked great on games, but I didnt really like the look of text. That is a pretty good stack of monitors though.
thehelix112
Trumpet, Yeah, I slouch a lot in my chair, so my head is kinda pointed upwards anyway. Spanning them left-to-right means I have to turn my head a lot, where as making them a square means I can see what I want quickly. Besides, the whole point for me was to be able to see more code, which is long and skinny, that dictated the layout really. Dave

auxilary
the box you see at top left in the shelf is my media center pc. it has a remote and keyboard hooked up to it, so you can use it as a regular device to play movies, etc. it runs XBMC. it also runs MAME (multi machine arcade emulator) and music. I put it together out of spare parts for the tv. Also good for porn!
