Apex944
BTW I keep seeing another ORANGE z in elk grove! I saw you today at a stop light... You had a girl in your passenger seat, no louvers, black (primer?) hood and a shiny looking exhaust I was with my wife in her mazda Any idea who this is? I've seen that same orange Z a few times now, he used to park his car at the "crazy prices" or something like that warehouse over on iron rock way I believe is the name of the street off of East Stockton Blvd next to highway 99. That warehouse closed recently though and I haven't seen that car since. You should chase him down the next time you see him . Have you seen the factory colored dark green all stock 240Z or the all stock white one running around town too? I've only seen them 1 time and waved at the green one when we were both stuck at a red light going the opposite direction...only reaction I got was a long stare that lasted until the light turned... Sketch_hs
which kit? since most do not fit 14" wheels (and some don't fit 15" wheels) modern motorsport adapters! Finally got around to installing them today Just barely fits behind everyone favorite wheels! About 3-4 mm clearance! BTW here is a recent interior shot Forgot to upload this a while ago: And a preview of whats to come!
Sketch_hs
Drove it around a bit (in the rain!) with the new brakes. Feels a lot different, stiffer pedal feel, braking power felt good and improved over drums once I got the rust and crud off the rotors by putting some heat into them I may need a brake bias controller in the near future. Next up will be a front brake (probably 4 piston) upgrade and getting the balance sorted out. I'm starting to realize just how much these old tires suck! They have horrible traction! It's amazing the car corners as well as it does with them. Oh well - have to burn them up first!

Sketch_hs
Still running great, daily driving. Check out what I found in the car today! Neat! Guess that answers the question of millage. 150k it is (wasn't sure if it was 50k or 150k, though i guess it could be 250k I don't think it is!) Sketch_hs
OMG AN UPDATE: Well a small one. I found some time the other day to make some intercooler mounts and test fit it... looks pretty good and fits perfectly: Here is one of the things that's been distracting me lately... A NA build for a guys V6 Mr2! Ported heads and some other trick little bits. I also did order a rear sump oil pan for the engine swap on the Z. It's going to be a 2jz! Made up my mind....
