Anway few pics of progress, doesnt look like much but there is so much mock up its crazy. Still have some fine tuning to do with the gauges but it will get me though crank up. I redid the engine portion of the chassis harness and de clutered it some, got the intercooler pipes done and got my other bride seat, just waiting on the rails to get here from japan. I swapped the alternator over to the Nissan Quest 125 amp vs the 80 amp I had in there. I should make some good progress this week and this weekend. How is your oil pressure Sounded kinda like a exh leak/ spark plug missing type noise on my computer... You sure it's a metal on metal sound? The other thing is I have seen valves drop on initial startup due to the retainers not being fully seated. That doesn’t seem to be your case as it seems like its idling pretty good. ZT-R Posted December 13, 2012 Author Share Posted December 13, 2012 (edited) Yup. All fixed. It was the Harmonic Balancer. The lower timing belt cover was barley hitting it. Pasquale Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 you can make one at most industrial stores all you need is a steel coupler in the length and diameter you require, two heims in the stud diameter the bolt thats being bolted through it are and two jam nuts.
