Well, it only took me 6 hours to get my turbo oil drain done, holy crap this closed loop is tight. Anway few pics of progress, doesnt look like much but there is so much mock up its crazy.

 

Still have some fine tuning to do with the gauges but it will get me though crank up.

Havent had much time to tinker. I redid the engine portion of the chassis harness and de clutered it some, got the intercooler pipes done and got my other bride seat, just waiting on the rails to get here from japan. I swapped the alternator over to the Nissan Quest 125 amp vs the 80 amp I had in there. I should make some good progress this week and this weekend.

Hmm that sounds like valves. Hope it’s just that they need shimmed... who did the shimming?

 

The other thing is I have seen valves drop on initial startup due to the retainers not being fully seated. That doesn’t seem to be your case as it seems like its idling pretty good.

4" round to oval pipe, Loud as hell, gonna have to figure something out, sounds good though.

Where'd you get that alternator tensioner?

you can make one at most industrial stores all you need is a steel coupler in the length and diameter you require, two heims in the stud diameter the bolt thats being bolted through it are and two jam nuts. Its shouldnt cost you more then 20$
