Im lookin to sell my motor. I am planning on doing the 7mgte swap. Anyways what do you guys think is fair. 81 l28et 82 NA 5 speed chinese ebay intercooler with 2.5 inch mandrel piping and 1g dsm BOV and all silicone couplers non egr n47 intake manifold 240sx TB The electronics on this motor are sketchy and i would only recommend someone using standalone with it but i can include the harness and ECU. Also, it would need a new turbo. Here is the only pic i have, shows the IC set up

KA tranny seems to be a good option. Garret is running it I beleive and he seems to drive the hell outta his car and its holding up. You might wanna PM him and 1 fast z as he also seems to know alot about that. As far as the z32 tranny thing, yea well its a kit I think Ken is working on there is a thread about it http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=103698&highlight=z32+tranny. Seems a bit pricey.

i have alot of video, thumpers best time was 11.67. He ran his car like 24 times? We counted the time slips. He ran a 11.67, 11.76, 11.88, and a couple 11.9 somethings. He had alot of passes very low 12s. He seemed to run consistent. I beleive he said he was running 20 psi. I will post some vids tommorow.

2400 lbs would be amazing for a full trim 78. My guess is you are gonna be in the 2800lb range.

oleh is right, the zap was never made as a 280zx, only a 280z. They were yellow, not red.

The quarter mile calculator can not be used really to determine wheel horsepower. Reason is, if you put in Jnjdragracing's quarter mile time into the calculator the number it gives and their actual dynoed whp is 200 to 300 hp difference.
