  1. I have seen that picture, but I think they made more, not just that one. I could be wrong.
  2. I recently bought a header to remove smog ports, air pump, and a nice sound and maybe a little performance gain. The seller claimed it was a nissan Comp header, so I bought it even if it isnt a Nissan Comp, I got a good price on it. The header has slight surface rust and its actual coating is chrome and the Header tubes are really thick. They are thicker than the MSA. How can I identify if its Nissan Comp or something else. Here are some pics. Hope you guys can help me ID the header.
  3. John, 100mph going up the mountain? And a stock 240z or your old racecar? @rejracer thanks for input. After the grapevine to Sacramento it's all flat. I might take a trip down there soon.
  4. The maxima mn47 is the compression upper and the regular non maxima n47 is not.
  5. cool! The GC coilovers are amazing. I am sure you will like them on your Z. It was a big difference in handling and a nice drop on the car.
  6. I think I have some pics here http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/97716-camaro-is-gone-260z-is-here/page__p__917424__fromsearch__1#entry917424 , They are brand new with used tires mounted on 2(215/60's)and 2 not mounted(225/60's).

  7. I have some 16x8 0 offset Konig Rewinds if you want to trade for your Rota Rb's ! Let me know !!

  8. I wanted to do this on my white 260z to look like common snapper s30z. But looks great
  9. I sectioned my struts for Ground Control coilovers and was left with unanswered questions, but Gabe at TTT sent me this drawing to clarify all of my questions. He first told me to drill the stock rubber upper strut mount from 12mm to 15mm. The notch wasnt really important so you will be left with a circular 15mm. He then told me to use washers because the upper mount will expose the un-threaded part of the tokiko struts, so I used washers to fill the rest so the top nut has something to squezze/ sit on. Then you are done. I hope this helps some of you guys as I didnt find this info online.
  10. Damn everyone wants them. I need to find 16" mesh or old school rims. And then you can pick them up. I have a few leads. Will let you know as soon as I find a pair.
  11. Bump!! I need 16" rims. Deep lip wide rim to fill flares. But mainly looking for ssr mesh
  12. I have pictures!! Ultimate compound on $30 buffer. 1st picture is before ultimate compund. Look at those scratches!! The rest is after. I hope you guys enjoy.
  13. I have 17x8.5 +4 and 17x9.5 -19 rota RBR with hankook wheels all bought brand new with 1,000 miles or less on them. They are gunmetal with polished lip. I am looking for 16" wheels so I don't need these but need to find me some replacements so my car doesn't have any shoes.
  14. Just To update. I bought a 6" random orbital buffer from Pepboys and washed my car and waited till it cooled down. I applied the ultimate compound and started to work it really well and did several passes with the buffer and WOW!!!!! The car shines like new and removed scratches and swirls. It is smooth and looks wet. The paint looks really fresh. At first I doubted the ultimate compund but I do truly believe it is probably one of the best compounds in the market.
  15. Wow great info galderdi. Thank You. What battery are you using?
  16. Man I remember my first z. It was an early 260z 8/73 and now own a 9/73 and a 72 240z. But, that thing was stripped by PO and it felt really light. I wasn't really z knowledgeable back then so I didn't know the setup of the car. But man that car flew and sang with 36/32 dgv.
  17. BluDestiny - I think you are right. I think I will remove everything. My floorpans are rust free so I think I can sand it down and POR15 it and spray a single stage paint of white. I think that would look really nice. A plane interior with just a nice pair of seats and a dash. beermanpete- thanks for info. 130# from mainly interior is crazy good. Tony D- I assume all your s30z lost 100# on the diet. I am not a heavy guy, I range from 160#-180# and that takes 6 weeks gain or lose between the two. But I believe you. 70-80% of a weight loss goal comes from nutrition alone.
  18. BluDestiny. Was this with you inside of the car? I don't know where I'm at now but will check at a local truck stop soon. @johnc. I have heavy 17's and an r200 LSD. That is where the weight comes on as I see an open r180 is nearly 20lbs lighter than r200 LSD. I am looking at fiberglass dash options and like what pdk offers. And downgrading from 17's to maybe 16"-15" is on the list. I don't mind removing carpet but jute and sound deadning how much will that actually save. SU engine will be replaced by L28et.
  19. I'm looking to reduce my early 260z weight to 2,250-2,300lbs. I have removed bumpers and the heavy bumper shocks and the AC system. I plan on running some racing seats like sparco fighters. What did you guys do to your early 260z to get it light to 2,300 lbs or less. -Brian
  20. Like stated there are many post about this subject. Go to forum FAQ and you will find a lot of info.
  21. Awesome. Yes I plan on doing a tune up before and check the parts you stated. I have a 5 speed now but I do remember 4th gear keeps the engine revs and has good amount of power. Thanks for tips and info.
  22. Damn. With the AC on is a feat. Where you going at same pace with other cars climbing the hill? Thanks for the confident boost. :]
  23. I think the best choice I made to save money was to go to the closest community college. I will be leaving to a university in Utah in the Fall. I also just spent a lot of time at the library so I won't spend great amount's of money for a new version book just because it has a new front cover. I would do homework and study, it is probably one of the best places to get school work done. I've had good and bad professor's but I think that the new teachers are motivated but lack teaching experience and the experienced mostly lack motivation to teach. Also, these days a lot of professor's complain about their pay.
