  1. I was hit by a backed up car that didn't see me. The hood got crushed and headlight bucket, nothing bad. I need a clean straight hood and headlight bucket (driver side). No bondo, just need a good straight one ready for paint. Local Preferred. I'm in LA. Socal welcome to pick up. text me (323)515-7784 for fast communication. And sorry for misleading title hood scoop was suppose to be headlight bucket.
  2. I have one earls that MSA sells. Let me know if you are interested.
  3. between legs or if its a small cup, I usually put it between parking brake handle and seat.
  4. yah, true, He was probably trying to find an excuse. Ive driven without a light for a year with no problem, Until two weeks ago.
  5. nice man, try and get good pictures of your tps, water and air intake sensors. I have an sds also. I hope you can get good pictures of wiring and install to help me and others.
  6. yes pdk fabrications. They still make 240z dash style fiberglass, but they stopped making carbon fiber years ago.
  7. hope you find it in one piece. They should give criminals who steal beautiful cars a beating and more time in jail. I wwill check Socal craigslist if any parts pop up.
  8. You mean valves hitting piston? Weber dual downdraft carbs are great carbs. I had fun with them when I had a set. A lot of people will tell you why not just get an l28. The l26 has domed pistons so slapping a stock p90 will do no good. Shaving 80thou and getting shims involves some work. If you are doing that might as well get the l28 block with flat top pistons.
  9. Nice, I hope my tailight write up helped.
  10. pic 2 is the right way, but man does pic 1 look real good.
  11. Well I didn't run a gasket between the taillight and panel. Drilling is a measuring thing. I started with one bolt that lined up and went from there. Also. I just found out the 240z license plate light works and bolts in to the same location as my early 260z. Never did it until I got pulled over for no lights. Fits like a glove.
  12. Maybe, but In California it is required to have your lights visible from 50feet.
  13. or might do this: http://vh4.nethosting.com/~goldcst1/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=29&zenid=2efe3466de77d70c2d927bdf26033eea
  14. I got pulled over for not having back up tail lights on my z, I've been driving for 2 years no problem until last weekend. I was wondering if you guys have an different than stock license plate light? there are universal ones on ebay like: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bolt-On-12-LED-white-License-Plate-Light-DRL-Chrome-12V-Car-Truck-SUV-RV-Trailer-/130810059706?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e74e31bba&vxp=mtr I just avoid driving at night in my z now, dont want to go back to stock, I broke frame etc. thanks
