  1. This looks like my early 260z when I picked her up. 904 white. nice car!
  2. I am going to buy some ARP head studs for my L28et. I was wondering if the ones for the L28 are the same for the L24 and L26? I am assuming they are but would like to be 100% sure. The other question is how many times can they be torqued down? The reason I ask is because I will be swapping out heads on L26 for know and wanted to use ARP once then if they work throw them on my L28et. Brian
  3. I lowered the car about 2inches in the front and half an inch in the rear. I am going to cut fenders and zg and go lower. I am at around $1,000 for illumina and coilovers.
  4. I am on coilovers and I love them. The 200/225 spring combo is not stiff and use "3" on illumina. The handling is a lot better than stock and I do drive my car through Los Angeles hell holes. I think it was worth the investment and adjustability of lowering the car where I want it to be.
  5. I was wondering if you guys have any good links to a DIY spot repair on a car. I have a couple of dings and small fail touch up paints by PO. I also have surface rust on rear bumper bracket, this exposed when I removed it. The paint in my car is original and nice and would like to do spot repairs and blend the colors to make it all really nice. Any tips or links? thanks!
  6. http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php/topic/105031-gc-coilovers-unanswered-questions/page__p__982788__fromsearch__1#entry982788 this is for 240z early 260z. I am guessing it should be the same, and the coilovers are Ground Control.
  7. use NAPA, great quality and cheap and it works.
  8. I have same rims and I did GC coilovers and man it's a big difference. My car use to look stupid. But with coilovers I get a good drop and great handling. I would just save up for a kit with illumina sectioned struts. The alternative would be get Ground Control ($400) and just drop you car without sectioning and/or new shocks.
  9. Yah just buy 6 clutch disk and you can ditch some spacers.
  10. I know about ethanol. E85 and remember brazil made ethanol their main fuel. Iirc. Electric vehicles said to have all the torque at 0rpm?
  11. Gas prices are ridiculous and they are going to continue to rise. I have plans for engine builds and WOT fun, but with these prices I can only keep that adrenaline pumping to a minimum. The question is will there be an alternative fuel source to gasoline? I know there are hybrids, electric motors and others, but will there be one where we can still run a regular combustion engine with in the near future? Gas is expected to run out in 40 years or less. Do you guys think there will be a new formula of gas that we won't have to switch engines or be forced into buying new vehicles?
  12. Yah drop that motor on your 280z. IMO, the s14 is ugly.
  13. Cool. Have you personally bought anything from the yahoo japan auctions? I want to do it but dint know how it works.
  14. The MM uses 240sx s13 calipers, and an s13 rear you can bolt in z32 2 pot rear bolt in with no mods. So yes I am saying you can buy MM brackets and run z32 2 pot rear. I think Tyler013.. (more to the name <--) Is doing just that.
  15. The 240sx world plus 3 members on here. The 2 pot z32 is a common upgrade to the rear of the 240sx without any modifications.
  16. Well, I've heard using the MM bracket you can run the z32 2 pot for the rear
  17. Guys, I got mine from zforce. Justin is a good guy. The kit is really nice. Hope he contacts you. If you need another way to contact him go to his facebook page.
  18. I'm looking for a 2.5" exhaust pipping. Mandrel bent. Like the MSA performance exhaust kit. I don't need muffler. Just the 2.5" pipes.
  19. Thanks guys, I guess it's not. The pricing part, we are all entitled to our own opinion.
