  1. Thanks I should of search, now that I think of it.
  2. You have posted a very interesting question to myself. I have read several threads on this subject with only opinions associated with the topic. I do not believe I've encountered any facts on what pressure the L serious engine runs at, per engineers specs.
  3. Now in the interest of learning, and good thread title, please tell me why. I love to learn and this one perplexes me.
  4. Just like the reference of the sunflower (oil) turning into flames. Very creative.
  5. Some where there is some info on the colors of the injectors. A search might be in order. The turbo injectors will not work for the N/A, w/o independant ecu.
  6. Just a suggestion and your mileage may vary. LOL!!
  7. Here it is http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=137868 .
  8. After reading another thread I was thinking, is this as much of a problem with the internally oiled cams? With an internal and after breakin,, synthics may get you by?
  9. That would certainly look great, I do wonder about flow, looks a little choked down.
  10. Good to see that this has finally grown some legs!! I would like to see more pics of this product installed for looks and fitment.!!!!! Rock on ZX!!!
  11. That is one cool looking car! Took me a sec to get the paint job, very creative!
  12. Did you get that split second feeling of, this could not be the smartest thing? I get them before injury sometimes I stop, sometimes not fast enough to react. Sorry about that, now you will have to wait to see how great the car handles with that upgrade! Bummer won't be able to show kids at school all the hard work you have put into the car. Get you mom involded and make it a family affair, just tell them you need some bonding time:)
  13. Too high spring pressure can cause damage. There is a recent tread on a cam lobe that bit the dust. The thread covered problems with the lack of zinc in motor oil. I never had a problem with my stock springs on my p79. The car saw 6500 all the time, however you have a n47, so not the same spring set up. Also the guy that had problems had a spray bar configuration, yours is internally oiled, correct?
  14. This fellow nailed it!! If you want to save money on gas, try to keep your foot out of it. Premeium gas and some octane additive will help. You want to go above 6500 rpm and beat that engine within an inch of its life,,,,, you will want to do more than just springs. Untill then enjoy the ride!!
  15. Search efi bible, this will give you the straight skinny on a tremendous of understanding for our cars:)
  16. Man sorry to hear that..... What are slightly used clutchs going for? I have an 83zx, hint hint.
  17. I say go for it! How many miles are on it? You can go with an after market ecu when you've studied up on them. That will inprove things even better when properly tuned. In the mean time you can enjoy driving it:) Also run a conpression test before and after, just as a reference. Dose the car smoke at all?
  18. That totally looks like a custom job! Kinda cool. Do some searching for 4barrel intake to help you figure out what size carb might suit your needs. ArazonaZ makes one, bit different though.
  19. Are you familiar with the cold start system on your car?
  20. Did you put a hand up? I had a full sized male phasent hit my honda's windsheild doing about 40 slowing from 60. Put an arm up, though he was going to make it through. Supriseingly not even a crack, just a very loud thump! Saw him in the rear veiw mirror going tit over but and landing in the road. Funny write up and good spirt of handling the situation:)!
  21. Every tool in my hand is a hammer, except barrowed ones. Kitchten knifes make for great screwdrives untill you twist the tip, however if it breaks, your in better shape. Wife dose not let me use them anymore. I know screwdrivers are not ment for prying or chilseling that has not stopped me from going through tons trying:).
