No just that is about the nosiest part in that engine bay!! Personally, big difference in stock situation. BEWARE of over heat of a/c if using one. Search on this issue there is a lot of info.

Understood. I know Honda built there own fi systems when most of the world was using Bosch. So they have there own special and incredible fuel and ignition systems today. I was only pointing this out because I (personally) did not want to see a broad brush stroke over a very fine company. Cheers:)

Well I wasn't trying to say that everyone would have these results, that just been my experience. No problem, got that from the get go:). Yep, Platinums are good (as long as they aren't Bosch!) and Iridiums are better, either in NGK or Denso. Typically the Denso plugs are 50% more in cost, so go with NGK. We never put Bosch stuff on any of the cars at the shop due to such high failure rate of parts. Our Techs won't even put the stuff on. Just our experience. Bosch is a very old German company. They have produced extraordinary stuff since forever. So I must ask, do you have an example of any such failure personally? Mind you, I have no problem with NGK.

With my 82 I had a sebring ss muffler that was kinda a type of glass pack design. It is now on my 83. With the big cam especially around 3800 wot the car sounded so fantastic!! Anyhow it was also loud! So in place of the cat (which was already MIA) I put in a 2-2 1/2 heavy duty glass pack to quite it down. Worked great and did not seem to hurt the sound much, just not as loud. The sebring had a drone, but only at one rpm range. With the glass pack no drone at all.

Local in spokane wa. they just replaced 4 studs on my 83 zx front. Wait 2 days and I'll see where and part number.

I personally can't decide between the heads that I have and the one I will use. I have 2 p79, 1p90a and 1 n47.
