Hmmm I will have to try that with my 83.

My 82na with stock breaks would fade to nothing after a shot to appox 120/130 back to about 75mph. This was a hard breaking event. I mean there was almost nothing after I took my foot off the break and applied them again. Kinda scary, was not expecting that. Just adding this tidbit if you care.

Was that just a super long gear in 4th. Seemed like a very long pull in 4th. I'am not doughting the numbers just seemed long.

How about those filters that you could change out the internals with another roll of toliet paper? I'am might want to source one in the futrure.

If you get the "blue screen of death" than the bios is active. Get into the bios and see what might be happening. Also try starting in safe mode. You info on the hard drive may be fine, even with a boot sector that may be screwed up you can retrive it by putting into another computer as a slave.

My frist truck with my company was 82? nissan truck. It had a z engine in it I think. The engine with duel spark plugs 4cly. It finnally gave up the ghost at 380k on it! All original, carb, chain, ect. HEAVLY abused but good maintainence.

Simple check, u-joints. I've had to replace a few, mostly in the shafts off the diff to the wheels.

I have a wire nut because I want to do it right. All my connections will be redone and replaced with a splice block. What is the amp rating? I don't know and if I can not figure it out with the search button, than starting low will suffice for me. Of couse there will be a few extras laying around.

Your right ArnZ. The draw I was talking about was just for a more powerful head unit. I did not want to get into the constant memory wire cuse some like to use it for constance power, which it is not designed for, minus memory. I put my head unit and amp on a swich next to my head unit since there was so much room. Your info was more correct than mine, I was just leading him to something he might benifit from later and not have to redo.

Though I agree with you Mikelly, I also agree with the statement, "from the top down". To advoid putting off a single company I will assess if thier is a pattern to the complaint. Since it is a major chain, it will be alot of complaints before I believe the company has a stinky head cheeze. Circuit city has a pretty good rep due to how well they done in a highly compedtitive industry. So rotten worker, spotty bad work,,,,,,, rotten manament, bad work all over. Companies are the life blood of this country and like everything in life, large or small, a few always ruin it for everyone. Bigger power draw. I would run a at least a 12awg stranded wire from battery. FUSE AT THE BATTERY! Add a second wire for an amp later to save yourself some trouble. The new lead will be able to let you turn on the stereo with out turning on ignition.

Man I'am tired of this cold as well. It is quite beautiful as well. Heating bills keep climbing aguhhhhh. I want to make a comment about warming but I can't and that is fine.
