  1. At this point it seems you are getting things done well. My 82 83 N/A manual were both the same, but I've seen variations on other cars in a half of a year. Good luck with the roll pins in these:).
  2. Ok, my lazy butt checked out the tank I have from my 82. Fuild is in it and it smells like gas. It is fully equip w/sending unit. It is all yours. Have to find out shipping, don't ship anything really. Do you want it? Even some vacumme device is still attach to it. Problay some venting based on pressure.
  3. Just guessing here,, that head gasket dose not look stock. You peeled it away and there seems to be very little residue. Some work might have been done to your rig?
  4. Yikes, looks like you made the right call. Seems like a reabuild is in order. You must have the cam still engaged by the pics. Remove cam, keepers, springs and cycle the valve(s) in question.
  5. If the pressure of the two caps are differemt one will suffice as long as both are on the same side of the thermostat. Put a higher one at the least convient spot, and the lower one at more convient. If you have spillage at your higher as well you have more to worry about than loss of fuild.
  6. Those injectors look used. Stick with stock untill you get serious with an upgrade. Peace.

  8. Is it me or is this setting up too many "catch 22"? Don't post till you search. Ask a well educated question. Don't attempt to answer untill you absolutely sure. Since the data base has most answers, the new kids showing intrest in these classic cars are kinda left in a quandary. The only people left feeling confident to post will be a bunch of old crustys. This may however decrease the amount the cars are going for??!! "I'am so cold" "you can't be insane if you know you are".
  9. At my age I'am mostly familiar with fuel injection. Seeing holly carbs stacked up like cord wood in shops and pick and pulls made me wonder a bit. Shame for any company to suffer. They are what makes this country great.

  11. Yep oil pressure sensor, pass side kinda near the fire wall on engine block. also fuel cut in afm.

  13. Another thing after thinking some more. Steves engine had some spark blow out with the meth. They put in a very good msd unit and the engine went over 4500 rpm easily. Just another tid bit.
  14. My brother with a crx, b16a turbo gained 65 more hp without air filter. My bother in law picked up something like 60 plus hp with filters installed on a 383 tt, no intercooler, meth injection. The car is a donor. Only assumption, with steve the air flow was less turbulent with filter,and my brother the filter acted as a restriction, or caused tubulence. Both were KN filters, not the same model. I'am not an expert just adding information I've run into.
