After all these years I never wanted to ask 30 vets. The wire supports the lateral tension of the line. So what a "guy" in this situation? I know how crusty old line men have there slang. I'll have to look this up.
Man that sucks!!
I've wired into my house low volt and power into some high places on my home. Hope to get some cameras and post viedo servalence signs. Better than any alarm system.
Luckly there were three vendors on those poles, I highly dought any less would of held at inpact. Looks like he snaped the guild wire he rode up to get there. Surprised he did not snap the pole at communication level do to snap back from broken guild wire. He is so lucky he did not bring power down on him.
Yes. I melted my fuseable link case down. The fuseable links were toasty as well. Had to do the dangerous thing of "hard" wireing all the wires together untill I get a fuse block. Yep got a big ole wire nut on there.
83zx.
Sorry ment to have a LOL or something. Did do that before. The wire only lasted so long. It was less reliable than a fuseable link.
I highly recommend that you only use oem or better parts in any car.
I don't know about that Gollum. I'am not positive but fuel injectors atomize the fuel unlike carbs, so heat is not so much of an issure for cold starts.
I've had a 82 and 83, this dose not happen at all that I've ever seen. Big long hill, heavy throttle a little. Maby someone screwed with to orentation of the float location in the tank. I've never removed one so I don't know if this is possible.
