I have pics on my phone of a 94tt with that paint. I was going that route as well but since the paint costs more than I can spend right now I went the cheap route. Another green that is real nice is the Mazda 2 coupe.

I'll actuall tint the lights so they won't be as "red" and install LED bulbs. Or I might just get the 4" round LED trailer lights and tint those.

I'm good now found the perfect one from a chiltons manual.

bumper I dont need no stinkin bumper... jk I'm looking for a nice 240z one that I will get powdercoated black chrome.

Ok this is not done but for now it will work. I need to figure out the wiring and then she should be road worthy...

Any one have a wiring diagram for a 80-86 corvette? I need the tail light section so I can see what wire goes to what to match to the Datsun harness.

My combo switch is bad,yes I have cleaned the connections. Is there a way to setup a toggle switch system with the relays to turn on the signals? I know I would need one for right, left, and hazzards. At least I got my horn button to work finally.

I can get another switch, I'll try that first. Can't afford a new one though.

Cool thanks, now I just need to find out why the blinkers and running lights are inop right now. I just had to mess with the wiring to get the horn to work...

I had all that metal cut out when I had trans am tail lights. I will have bracing on the back with some angle iron and the top part rivited down to the lights.

Hey Deja how did you wire in the lights for running, brake and turn?

I have finally gotten around to starting the tail light swap to some 1986 Corvette assemblies (plastic not FG) I found a rear bumper cover with lights at the local JY for $45. These are some what rare around here since vette stuff goes fast. The vette cover is about 6 inches to long but that is easily fixed with a dremel (cant find my jig saw). After measuring multiple times I finally cut the cover in half and started fitting the right side in. Now I have it almost all the way in then I'll start on the left then the center before molding it all in with fiberglass. Here is what I have so far.

Most likely its the ford EDIS-6 since that is the most common swap for our zeds.

You can call around to local media blasters and see if they can soda blast or dry ice blast it all off. Its easier and some times a tad cheaper if you have any contacts. While your at it pull the engine and clean the bay at the same time.

By looking at all the threads on tail light mods I have decided to go with the round vette lights. The thing is I found a rear bumper cover with lights from a early Vette. So has any one taken one of these and figured out how to mold it into the rear of our zeds? Its the uerithane one so I'm guessing I can use FG with it as well?

I just got a glasspack exhaust done today and love the sound of it. Of course later down the line I can toss on a muffler if needed.

the 90-92 f/b/g-bodies had the L98 as well with both iron heads and aluminumn heads.
