  1. Well compared to the stock datsun seats the side bolstering is so much better. And yes they do recline.
  2. I live up by 95 and durango but work on the airforce base. I went but I could not find anything that I needed. I was looking for an lt1 alternator.
  3. Doh, looks like when I was editing my photobucket account I accidently deleted some pics.... arghhh I'll try fixing it..
  4. Here are some inprogress pics.
  5. Its actually called "leap frog green". Its a cheap Valspar paint, just like rustoleum but tintable any color. I bought a gallon of it from Lowes for $26, it was the gloss (not high gloss). The black on the other hand is just plain old black gloss rustoleum. I used a cheap $20 Harbor Freight paint gun. There are imperfections but it came out as a good 20 footer. I'll be re-doing it in a few years with real auto paint but thats after alot of other body mods. The hotwheels emblem on the side is just photoshopped as of right now. I'll be laying down a few coats of clear on the paint and will integrate some yellow/gold flake to the clear to make a ghosting effect for the hotwheels emblem and flames.
  6. I'll see if I have time to do that for you. You want the green like my zed or a lighter version?
  7. Find a 88-92 WC T5, they are stronger than the pre 88 t5's.
  8. Awsome I'm headed to the JY on wedensday, what one was it? (las vegas) I did find a CL add for a 81 turbo slick top.... http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/2411143579.html
  9. My pcm and harness was from Street and performance as well. I got mine off of CL for $250 unused. I ended up having to get a new chip as well since theirs was junk. The harness on the other hand is AWESOME!
  10. Awesome to see this getting done. Next time your down here at Nellis give me a ring.
  11. I was thinking of going with the c503 cam swap 1.6 rollers and beehive springs. Other than that not much else.
  12. lol, my rear drums need new shoes and right now I can't afford the upgrade. I'll be upgrading to 5 lug any how so it wont really work for me anyhow.
  13. What would be best is have some one take your stock lt1 harness and make a standalone one with a new fuse block. If your pcm is a 94-97 then it can be tuned with a laptop. If its the 93 then you have to get a "chip" that has been modded. Make sure you either get a VATS bypass module or remove the VATS out of the PCM. Other wise your car will not run.
  14. I went the cheap route and did rustoleum type of paint. Its actually Velspar outdoor paint that I had tinted Kawasaki green. It actually came out pretty good and was $28 for a gallon of it.
  15. http://www.ls1lt1.com/forum/pcm-tuning-computer-diagnostics-77/ this should help you with any questions you may have.
  16. I send so much buisness to sean wonder if he will give me a discount???
  17. Kool thanks for the info, wierd on why the placement of the pcm made a difference.
  18. I searched and did not come up with a good answer. What resistor size do I need to get my tach to work correctly?
  19. You can also get "speed bleeders" they are the nipple screws but have a check valve built into it. When you push down the pedal fluid squirts out and when you release the pedal the valve does not allow air back into the system. It makes it really easy to bleed a system by your self.
  20. Yup, I have video of it running and driving on youtube. I still need to get the exhaust done but at least it is driving.
  21. I'll call my friend and ask about it. Update: The parking brake bolts right up to the mounts like stock. Only mod is that you have to cut off the return springs.
  22. Has any one seen the 280Z ski rack option? I found on on CL and am buying it new in box. Just wondering if anyone has seen it before?
