to be honest, when i saw that car at MSA i wasnt very impressed at all.sure it was nicely detailed, but imo, the rims dont belong on a z, and there isnt really any custom cool fabrication...

haha. I used to listen to that show when i lived in norcal, bob and tom in the morning.... they had lots of good bits like that.

as far as i know momo is the only company that makes an adapter for a z. unfortuantely the nardi bot pattern is different. one way to get around that would be to get a quick release hub to install on top of the momo adapter that has a dual pattern.a lot of them do. changing the diameter of the wheel will change the amount of steering effort needed, especially at low speeds, larger wheels give you more leverage.

its on here, well, and on sr20forum, where another guy is attempting the same swap but in a 240sx... its me.you'll need to have access to a tig, a machine shop, and will need to do some kind of distributorless ign. running the oil line for the cam activation is the easiest part of it. fnding a good rwd shortblock was the biggest problem...i literally tried 5 times to find a good one...and ended up sleeving one with a bad cylinder wall once i couldn't. and why not use a sr20vet from an xtrail? well, you'd have to do the same mods for rwd application anyways... they're harder to find, and way more expensive. you'd get a cast turbo exhaust manifold that can sit on a shelf in your garage once you get a custom tubular one. on the other hand the valve cover is cool...like a 20v's , and has individual coils...which you may or may not be able to use with whatever ems you choose.

When I was tearing it apart i found in a secret hiding compartment [a hole in the vinyl rocker trim] a pipe for doing some kind of drug...maybe pot? i really wouldn't know anything about that.

I've driven a sentra SER with a qr25. pretty dang fun.

When installed, the camber plates are meant to be bent at the front corner to follow the curve of the top of the strut tower. Mine hit my hood before I bent them down.

Last night I had a dream that I found an RB26 shortblock in this weird retail store. It had a single turbo conversion, on this really nice manifold, that looked almost like a sculpture, and the spark plug, and front covers were copper. It was just on display and they didn't know what it was. I asked if I could buy it, and they let it go for $65. I opened it up when I got home and it had forged pistons, it was overbored too, but I forget how much... then I woke up. It all seemed so real, I was so disappointed. Has anyone else had weird car related dreams like that?

its not really a saying, but I always hear people mispronouncing it. and it bugs me "Fermiliar" instead of "Familiar." Even in commercials, like the recent duracell commercial.

I'd go with a front mount, tried and true. A turbo VH45 in a S30 is unique enough already, without having to think of some out of the box mounting scheme, if that's of any importance. [being unique] I'm looking forward to see what you do with this.

I think albert was just regretful for helping develop the atomic bomb.. thats just what it seems like to me.
