I agree I think you call someone else after the first day of duhh I don't where the part is. A/C is mandatory if you want to sleep during 3/4 of the year.

Mine does have some runout that I wish it didn't.

Come to my town. It's the expected norm here. You wouldn't believe the shocked looks I get when I show up. I showed up to fix an air conditioner this last summer. The customer had been waiting quite a while for the previous contractor to return with the right part. SEVEN YEARS!!! Yup' date=' it's true. They would call once a year to see if the part had come in yet. It was a common universal relay. I have at least five or six on my truck at all times. Anyone have any experience with one of these or any mill for that matter? Where do you get the bits for them? How much are they? What all could you really make with them? I have one of the small HF drill presses and it's OK. I certanily got what I paid for. Maybe alittle more. I like buying consumable stuff from HF. Sanding disc, grinding disc, gloves, etc... The prices is certainly right for those items and it seems like they have a better selection than Lowes and Home Depot.

I was just at HF today and I think you can get a small mill for 350 or so. Definantly more than a drill press but, you can also do more work with better presiscion. What about one of those machinist vises for the drill press. Anyone ever use one?

Where I work they have those warranties and really compared to how many parts go out the door I get very little back. Lots of times guys just get bored and want something to do so they bring things back and say they are worn out or don't work anymore. Very annoying from my stand point but, hey it's a living.

Take a look at your fusible links. Sometimes they can get crusty and not let the car do things.

Back two years ago when my paint was fresh and super shiny I used to get alot of the beater honda etc... that would want to race and I used to do the same thing. But, now it's like Phantom said "I get no respect"

Another thing that it sounds like to me is the stock knock sensor. It can pull a ton of timing out and make the car feek like that. Is it still hooked up? At stock boost with good gas it really shouldn't be doing anything but, if the tune is off then it might be. Check your plugs and connections then verify your timing.

I know what ya mean about wanting to see the person reation. There is an onramp by my house that you go from about 5mph at the entrance to the ramp to highway spped by the end of it(not very long). It's fun to watch peoples reaction when I get up to faster than highway speed before the end of the ramp and pass them. Some even try to block you but, thats no proublem.

Good point I often have to step back and do something else for a bit, then the answer will all of the sudden hit me.

Ok what ya need to do is get some sticky tires out back. Take it to the track. Shift at 6300 to 6500 RPM's without letting off the gas. That'll blow it and we can get on to this other info. J/K I may see if I can round up a Z31 turbo tranny and take a look at it all. I've got an engine and the B/W tranny to compare things with.

I really don't know wanything about the lengths of the two but, what about the L-28 bell housing and then use an adapter plate that could be used between the bell housing and the Z31 turbo trans. Anyone have any specs on the Z31 tranny. I heard they are strong but, I have no proof. In the next few weeks (months)I could possibly look at this if I had a Z31 tranny to play with. Anyone want to donate one? It wouldn't have to be any good.

Come on Peter, Looks like the ball is in your court. What do you think about adapting it?
