  1. Hahahaha! Just playin' Mike. Now, come on, post some pictures already! !M!
  2. Can I bring my car to your house Rufus, toss it aside for a little while and come and get it when the little elves finish the exaust? !M!
  3. I believe that is the new Hybrid Z motto. !M!
  4. Couldn't you swap the viscous carrier (300ZX, Q45) into your differential? I would LOVE that gearing for my Z! How much cabbage did that cost ya? !M!
  5. Still downloading the video (stupid slow DSL...), but what is a "signoff" John? EDIT: Okay, I think I get it. People have to sign something off saying that you are competent to race in a higher class, correct? I feel for the guy... he qualified 7th out of how many cars? I mean, is there no leniency? So, if some broad screws up, your whole race season suffers? !M!
  6. Wow, the Z does wheelie nice . Nice job! What solid axle are you running? !M!
  7. Nice! I guess you don't need deep dish wheels with ZG flares for a Z to look bad@ss You wouldn't happen to have a shot from directly behind it, maybe 20 feet away, and from like 2 feet off the ground, would you? I would love to see what those steam rollers look like! That would be such a cool picture. Hey Tim, check it out, he has wheel chocks! !M!
  8. Welcome! For starters, you are posting in the wrong forum. We have a Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis forum. If you search through this site, you will find lots of information on improving/strengthening the chassis for whatever your needs are. "Subframe connectors" would be a good start to your search for information. !M!
  9. Here is some more information on that Miata from the owner... click here Also, if you read it all, you'll find out he has had a couple hybrid Z cars! He just likes stuffing big engines into small cars. !M!
  10. I saw the first episode and thought it really sucked. Turns out I'm not the only one. Here is something very interesting from one of the guys that was on the show... click here Pretty messed up, hey? !M!
  11. I think he rolled it. Rolled mine over on a trampoline and made a loud popping sound followed by my ankle growing to the size of a softball. Have had limited movement with my ankle ever since. So, how did you do it? !M!
  12. I hope you don't mind Bartman, but I just got a call from a buddy of mine that is gutting a '00 LS1 Camaro to be a full on race car and he gave me first dibs on the fuel tank. I pick it up tommorow in the AM. So, if anyone is thinking about this LS1 tank swap, throw me a PM. EDIT: sale pending !M!
  13. Monster Miata + 48 c.i. Nice, I wonder if he took it off any sweet jumps. !M!
  14. I get a call the other day from a buddy that lives in southern California. He was at a car show is Escondido and he says there is a yellow Z car there with something sticking out of the hood and a parachute on the back. He said when it started up, its sound was "VERY nice". I told him to take a picture. Anybody know who's Z this is? !M!
  15. I belive they are Diamond Racing wheels. What style are they? The company is right in Milwaukee here and I'm thinking about going the cheap route for now and throwing on some steel wheels in that style (but I'm going to paint the center gun metal) with ZG flares to make my Z semi-ready for the road. The guys at Diamond Racing told me to swing by and they would measure my Z up for me !M!
  16. Keep this bookmarked, it will help you out a lot. Wire Gauge Tables !M!
  17. Richard, Do you have any other pictures of your Z? I like the vents in the fenders. Also, are those vents behind the quarter windows? Those ZG flares are cool too! !M!
  18. I got my drink on tonight, but nobody's there !M!
  19. Rear drivers side can be simply removed. For the passenger side though, you need to drop the tank to get the shock off (so I've heard). The front shocks can be simply removed also. !M!
  20. That's odd for a Mexican's truck, usually they are lowered with "State Fair Special" wheels hangin' out the wheel wells at least a foot and dingle balls everywhere. !M!
  21. I know this topic came up some time ago, so I seached and came up empty handed. I would like to find a service like Rapid Share to upload some files to. Rapid Share doesn't seem to work for me at the moment. I have 3 files about 45 megs each that I need to upload so a buddy of mine in California can download them at his leisure. All the other file sharing websites have small file size limits or are a peer to peer service. Any suggestions? I tried using MSN messenger and Yahoo IM, but they are just to slow. !M!
