Damn, you're just moving right along with this. Awsome work. I'm going to have to step it up a little if we are going to terrorize the imports and domestics on HWY 100 (local cruising scene). Can you imaging the next Hybrid Z get together?
P.S. My Z goes in for its 6-poit cage this weekend $600, Chromoly tubing and a certified welder, can't beat that.

I remember seeing that piece of work after you got it off the boat. Every picture has been saved in it's own folder on my computer. "On the road 2" is the money shot, it pushed the F-22 picture off and made my new background on the computer. The new wheels look great! Keep us posted with LOTS of new pictures.

For hittin' a deer... a front fender, hood and a bumper isn't that bad! Seriously.
EDIT: Sorry, slightly off topic, but do you have any pictures of your M3 and Delta 88? I would love to see pictures! Both are something of my past.

Haha... it's amazing what those pressure washers can do, hey? Driveway, brick, wood (decks, fencing, ect.) aluminum siding, Bobcat, trucks after mudding, ect. It's such a simple machine, but yet so much fun!

I don't know if anyone alse had this problem with that mp4 format, but I tried it in Quicktime and nothing happens, no error message or anything. I tried playing it in RealOne Player and it doesn't support that format. Tried playing it in Windows Media Player and it won't work either.
Please don't go editing the video on my account though.

Do you have any parts left over after you installed the new springs and shocks? It could be something simple that you forgot to install. Hmmm... what about that solid piece of plastic that fills the void in the isolator (where the bearing would be if the isolator was used on the front struts)? Was that installed in the right rear isolator? However, I'm not sure if it could all be assembled without it, but it would account for oh, maybe... 3/4" drop in ride height if it was left out.
Do you have any pictures of the car and it's suspension installed?

I downloaded the video and tried playing it. Said it needed to download software to make it work, then it downloaded more software, and then it downloaded even MORE software, only to tell me it can't play the file, because it can't find the software to view it .
So, how do I view your .mp4 video?

Can we get a run down of what your manual covers, and how in depth? Are the measurements in inches or millimeters? Are there detailed instructions on building the engine/tranny mounts, or just a picture to follow? The last manual I purchased for this swap was NOT worth the money I paid for it. I was VERY disappointed.

You can't invert a front lower control arm (or could you?). Besides, even if it was inverted in the front, it wouldn't account for it saging in the rear.
The front lower control arm is not left/right specific. If the bushings are left in place, then yes they are, but not the control arm itself.
!M!
That's actually the way they come from the factory. There has been quite a few newbies that think the lower control arm is wrong, or it was flipped and they must have the wrong one, but nope. Also, the sway bar endlinks sit at the middle (of its thickness) of the control arm no matter which way it is flipped. One lower control arm for both sides, just like the front lower control arms.

The GNZ is getting a 6 point cage at the end of the month. Very excited about that. Otherewise it's kind of on hold for a month or so. It will be done for this summer though! As for installing the engine, Scottie (Scottie-GNZ) sold me his cross member, tranny mount and a whole bunch of other stuff off of his car when he parted it out, so installing the 3.8 in my Z was pretty much a "bolt in". I have used A/C maybe a half dozen times since I have been able to drive, so I really didn't see the need for it in my Z. Although, there is room for it.

Oh, for crying out loud... With you in there all the time and now you wife, can't any of us be Phamous? Beautiful Z by the way! I like the stitching on the seats.
!M!
Nope. But, if YOU install it, can I drive it? Hey Lewis, aren't you the one I got those fiber glass front fenders off of a couple years ago? If so, how's your Z coming? It was in a bunch of parts the last time I saw it. I'm still kicking myself in the butt for not buying that front airdam off you for that kick *** price you wanted to give it to me for. A few months later, I ended up buying the same thing for twice as much.

I think he just meant a Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Otherwise, that's one long muffler
You can get reducers that go from just about any size pipe to just about any size pipe. Just go to your nearest Fleet Farm, Farm & Fleet, Ace Hardware, Auto Zone, ect. and look for what you need.

You think that's bad... I always click my odometer when I fill up and check my miles per gallon each fill up. In my 2002 Chevy S-10 Crew Cab, I get 11.7 MPG city (the lowest I've recorded) and 17 MPG highway. With these gas prices sky rocketing, and work is slow, my pocket book is hurting
As for the article above, I think AAA has it right. The EPA should test vehicles in 'real life' situations.
