  1. No problem John. I also have a couple pictures of the front suspension of the GTO. I'm not sure, but I think they are those rare NISMO struts or something. They are very thick, unlike a 240Z or 280Z strut. The strut housing is at least 2 1/2" thick and the strut rod is about 1" to 1 1/8" thick. The top of the strut looks to be adjustable, but I didn't want to touch it, considering it's not my car. I wish I got a shot of the wire wheels. They are SWEET! Deep dish in the rear looks great! !M!
  2. Right on Terry! It's about time I found someone that thinks the same way as I do. !M!
  3. I remember that Z from a while back. He was on Zcar.com or maybe is was here, I can't remember. He updated his progress a few times and once showed that same picture with his new wheels set in front of the ones already on his car. The Skyline lights actaully turned out real nice. I saw that exact picture in some web site like "riced out rides.com" or something along those lines. Someone jumped the gun on calling it rice without seeing the finished product . !M!
  4. Haha! Well, the windshield is still good... I think. !M!
  5. Really? That's what I was kind of thinking they were for, but I have seen more than one person wear the wristbands and a headband, so it confused me. They just must be really sweaty people !M!
  6. I never understood what a wrist band was for and have never asked. Just saw people wearing them. What are they for? !M!
  7. I'm with Doug on this one. A removable roof would be a neat idea and it should keep you busy for a while . !M!
  8. I'm another fan of your scetches. Would you try putting that same front end treatment on a S30? Maybe draw in some type of grill for the ducts on each side? Now wouldn't it be cool if you could just scan the final drawing into a computer and some machine would make it for you? 8) !M!
  9. I really like what you did! Do you have any more pictures? Have you got around to mounting it one the car yet? I'm very interested to see how it works out. !M!
  10. I have a wedding to stand up in on that day . Otherwise I would trailer it up there, or if it would be done, dare I say, drive it up there . I know a few people that would be interested in this, I'll e-mail them. !M!
  11. Speaking of Radio Shack, I bought a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer and it works great. Those remote sensors aren't that big, maybe the size of your palm. Since your car is still in primer, you could just use some double sided tape and put the sensor pretty much anywhere you wanted and drive around. Part #63-1033 Click Here !M!
  12. Also, Tim keeps it in the garage or in this case a "cage" so it can't get away. Seems that the Mongoose likes to leave and go exploring . !M!
  13. Tim, You put the 280Z air dam on your 240Z, so did you have the same fitment issues that I had with the air dam pointing upwards slightly? !M!
  14. I've been wondering that too. Kind of looks like a gummy bear pet of some sorts? Well, it looks way to happy for one. !M!
  15. John, E-mail "scca", Mike G. has Z32 wheels on his Z. Great guy to talk to. But, I'm not sure if the Z31 wheels are the same as the Z32 wheels though. ' !M!
  16. Yeah, she did something with my willy too. !M!
  17. Hmmm... I just went and looked at my '73 front bumper and the mounts for the plate were in the center. !M!
  18. I replaced my T/C rod bushings so that I have poly on the front side and factory rubber on the back. I have no use for the two polyurethane T/C bushings that I took out. Shoot me a PM if you want them. But if you want them, I'll list the value of the two as $1.00, this way you avoid paying a large tax on them (right Ari ) !M!
  19. I knew somebody would say that. All I can say is alcohol was involved. How many people actually heed the disclaimer on fireworks? I know I've had many Bottle Rocket wars and Jumping Jack wars. I'm not the only one out there.. !M!
  20. I'll see if I can get them. The plastic surgeon that worked on my Dad is going to Vegas tommorow and won't be back untill Friday, and they were taken on his camera. I'll see if he can e-mail them to me when he gets back from vacation. !M!
