  3. At what RPM? You can get much leaner as you get closer to redline also. You should be seeing your most rich AFRs at TQ peak and get leaner from there.
  4. Should post up some pics of the ports while its apart. Told you I did not think it was a bent valve, though it may be now lol.
  5. Two questions, how is it you think the motor made it past the rev limiter? What method of limiting are you using? And I am sure that there are a few hundred on here that would tell you from their extensive road racing experience these motors don't tend to bend valves. Especially in a motor that is supposedly built for such stress.
  6. Thought I was clear? I said I was curious. Not many people bend valves in these motors that I know of. Never said I was, said I come off as one.

  8. Most dynos I have seen of stock 280zx turbos have been 130whp-140whp area. Take that and add FMIC, open exhaust, 3" DP, more efficient turbo high flow intake system (no AFM), a tune on 93 pump fuel and the results my surprise you even at the same boost levels.

  11. Hum, I did 334whp / 384wtq @ 16psi with a stock head, turbo cam, intake and turbo manifold. 7psi I was over 240whp. Turbo is a turbonetics ball bearing 62-1 stg 5 turbine.
  12. Yeah, fastlane is right dawn the street from me. They turn out some pretty crazy vehcles. I am pretty sure they have the 5.0 mustange in the video up in the 650whp area at 9psi. At least thats what they were saying last I spoke with them.

  14. And some dyno dynamics dyno the same as dynojet. You want to say you have 500whp, then dyno it.

  16. Yeah, it could. That mark looks like a single blade comming in contact after partially shearing off. The baldes are pulling tward the radiator after all. That pretty much sets off a chain reaction of shrapnel.
  17. Nah, my money is on old dry roted fan. They can cause some pretty crazy damage when they go. Look at the remaining blade, bet there are little cracks.
  18. I was gona say based on the dyno that either there is not enough cam or the afr is pig rich up top. I am on pins and needles for those final numbers. btw, You want around 500whp on a dynojet, go dyno on a dynojet. Dont go spewing anymore numbers on what the car has not done.
