  1. I was gonna say does EFI even have the ability to vapor lock on a return style system?
  2. That is a short nose either R200 or R230
  3. Mine is street driven....
  4. If payment was made via money order or some other form of payment sent through the USPS and you have proof of them getting payment you could get them for mail fraud. Just fyi.
  5. Ok, so looking at the gt35r map, And the 62-1 I am running, it bothers me that there was a surge. It seams more likely that it was blowing out the spark. I am also running the .63 a/r hotside. I see 15psi by 3500rpm. I also have stock head, cam, and intake manifold minus the 60mm tb. Phil should have a better flowing motor that should be less likely to induce a compressor surge when compared to mine. I see no reason why BigPhil would be surging. Basically I am saying I think Phil should swap the housings back and see if he can gain some spool.
  6. I am curious of the full build sheet on the L28. I would just like to compare numbers to mods.
  7. Possibly blowing out the spark on the old plugs? Sounds possible.
  8. You can weld cast aluminum.
  9. Looks like a sweet project. Side note: might want to invest in a tripod
  10. We have a local evo IX running a single walbro 255 putting down 415whp on e85.
  11. Just go down to Home depot or Lowes and they can get you a plug and should be able to tell you how its wired.
  12. I did not look at the link in the write up above but if its the article I think it is then I believe they say that the new 5.0 head is the highest flowing head on Fords shelf. Higher than the 5.0 cammer head and the GT head. A set of forged slugs and these are going to be crazy.
  13. Here in houston the new 5.0 has done better that 650whp and has done a 9sec 1/4 mile. Stock long block. That is with nitrous. All motor is a high 10 with stock cams and head. Still stock long block. 10 sec run all motor 9 sec run nitrous and c4 tranny (music was so you could not tell it was auto)
  14. You should contact Kin Chan over off 290 @ Baker cypress.
  15. ^^^ well what clutch is it? What power are you expecting it to have to hold?
  16. I have no problems with my 4puck. Chatters really bad when modulating clutch slip in revers. From a stop its not really a problem at all. To me at least.
  17. I think it is more difficult to drive a stiff pressure plate than modulate a softer plate with a better disk. The puck style disks hold up much better to heat and slipping. I wont go back.
  18. I had a centerforce dual friction that i got for like a dollar lol. Started slipping and I was a little broke at the time. I bought an ACT 4puck solid center disk and am using it with the centerforce pressure plate. Thing holds like crazy!!! Solid disk is pretty rough but you notice the differance in shifting with the lighter disk. I recommend them and will use them next time around.
