I'm thankful for my shop, tools and some jackstands to put my Z ON. Short block rebuild, diff. upgrade, tranny upgrade and whatever other fun things I need to do why I'm there. No snow tires this year.

Set them on two wood blocks about 1 1/2 ft. apart. lean against the wall upright as possible but sure they won't fall over, back glass first, protect were it touchs the wall. it's tempered and pretty tough unless you bang a corner on the floor. put the windshield next with somthing soft between them. I'd cover them with plywood.

I got a couple of pennies too. 1- There's some smart people here, 2-Communication is key, know the problem, get a plan. If a second job is the answer, that's fine. If a second job is to support a out of contol lifestyle, that opens a can of ugly little worms.

Talking about your car is nice, but it's nothing like stomping on the loud pedal. You drive the car, you fix the car. I have over 200,000 miles behind the wheel of a Z, stock and hybrid. they have bailed me out of many pilot errors. How many have in your Z wishing you were in your econocruiser. There 30 years old,they need work. Hybrids are a blackhole of time and money. If I have anywhere to go and theres a Z in the driveway that's the car i'll take.

I have a ABC in my shop and a halon in my car. I almost lost my shop to fire last week. I rent a shop in a 3 separate bay building. next door is a paint company, he was using some new type finish on some doors and wipeing them down with some painter plastic and throwing them in a pile. they combusted over night, caught his new sprayer on fire. The fire melted the plastic water line over head and put it out. All I got was some smell. Too close.

I blew my truck up. Driving my daughters truck that she wrecked and it's not long for this world. I drive 40 miles to work over a 8400 ft. car killin pass. I bought this motor used and spent every dime I could fixing problem after problem.I had no faith in the block. I was not going to put all that on a questionable block. I've had it down to the short block for 1 1/2 years trying to get the money to send it in. It's been a bad 2 years. it was my cheapest hope of a car.

I have been forced to put my 383 back together. It as a new top end.rebuilt edl. performer centerbolt heads with harland sharp 1.6 roller rockers, air gap performer intake 600 edl.performer carb. I bought this motor used and been fixing it eversince. I ran out of time and money to send the short block to the shop. I started it the otherday and the cam as a bad lobe,( i did brake the lifters in) Now the question, I see here that you don't think much of !.6 rollers. Should I lose the rockers and go with perfomer cam or should I get a cam for this setup. I'm broke and backing up.which is the right way from here. please help.

I had to spend a month in my home town of Ogden Ut. While there I seen 'O' S30 Zs. I live in a small valley in Idaho, There are 3 here. Need I say more.

L 88 scoop ,B&M starshifter, bumpers, the ends were flapping in the wind, they pissed me off so I took a sawsall to them. I've seen the problem handled better. We used to switch our brake lights, but only to evade.

Looking good, I love it's stance. coils,flairs wheels next on my list. 5000 doesn't sound to bad to me. I'm in to my $500 "GOOD DEAL" stroker almost 3000 to straighten it out .I wish I would have just started at the end.

It's not that hard to do . I was installing commercial window frames with a 25 caliber ramset, trying to hold the shims in I nailed my finger to the building. No use being a dumbass unless you can prove it!
