  1. my R32 (1990) has it, look on my website there is a picture of where it is in Engine Rebuild Pt 3
  2. Quoc, thanks very much for this! I went on your website to have a re look - it is bloody excellent mate, people are very lucky to have access to it. I have just put up a website that my brother did, and trying in some small way to do something like you have done for others as well. You were my inspiration BTW what is a 200ZR? regards
  3. With fitting the RB20 sump to the RB26 there would appear to be an obvious discrepancy in capacity - does anyone know the figures for each? I'm wondering whether I will need to add some more depth to the pan to pick up some more oil for circulation, especially given that I am going to use an oil cooler and remote filter housing? Anyone thought this one through?
  4. My brother has built me a website so that I can put progress on it to repay you other guys who have helped me out with your website stuff There is a few other pages to go up from the last 2 weeks so check again on the weekend, hopefully we will have them up
  5. I have changed my gauges to now have an oil pressure and an oil temp, a water temp & fuel gauge. Check out my new website in a few days and I should have photos up http://myweb.westnet.com.au/mikeval/
  6. Fentin, if you go to my website you should find the part numbers http://myweb.westnet.com.au/mikeval/
  7. my local expert here on RB motors told me to use a single 3.5inch exhaust behind the RB26, use HKS downpipes off the twin turbos. I am upgrading to Garrett ballbearing turbos. He advised me to retain the current turbo manifolds but ream them out bigger to match the Garretts
  8. What have others done about this as everyone recommends using this sump? Without the windage tray will the oil splash round everywhere? Have others made an alternate tray?
  9. I've just done mine this morning and it is a breeze. My block is an R32 GTR and it has the brass welch plug in the back. Popped it out from the sump side with an 8mm drift, then started the Diptick tube from underneath with a 10mm drift, followed by the 8mm drift again to get it out all the way. Then simply put the brass plug in the front with a bit of sealant. Took all of 5mins. Incidentally the back hole is marked with a 2 next to it and the front one with a 1
  10. this is a great thread as I have been pondering all alone the same issue. I havent removed my guages yet to check them out, but my car has a volt meter, which I think is a fat waste of time. I thought of taking out the volt meter and combining the oil pressure and water temp top and bottom and then putting a 2 5/8 oil temp and a 2 5/8 boost guage where the clock is. Now although seeing what you guys have found with dual guages i can relook. The other option I was considering is the GTR oil temp and boost guage in the console
  11. Yes. I have taken some photos, as soon as I download from my camera I will try and post on the site
  12. thanks very much that's great regards Mike
  13. The GTR units are 4 pin Regards the GTR radiator it is 480deep and 660wide, and the standard one in my 240Z is 470Deep x 660wide so there is nothing in it for fitting
  14. Thanks mate that would be great Kazu, thanks also for your info
  15. You slacker! Here you go: sump is A$300 US $225.84 pickup A$61 US $45.91 O ring A$4.
