  8. Nice car for the price. The money parts is definately there. If you're sure you want to keep this one, instead of looking for a cleaner car. I would recommend , Stripping the whole car first. Make sur to get all that bondo off also. Easyest would be take all the parts off and send it to a blaster. Welcome and good luck.
  9. Nice work. Glad you were finally able to put it to good use.
  10. If you're not scavenging the parts yourself, building the mounts and doing all the labor. You won't come even close with your budget. You need to at least multiply that by x4.
  11. Make sure the pivot clip didn't pop off.
  12. +1 .. You beet me to it. That install is very unsafe. They'll definately come loose in an accident. Hell they might come loose in a hard corner.
  13. Yeah, just looked. You are right. That's a major mistake. I've seen it too many times. Even in FSM's . Dam Porsche manuals. lol
  14. Welcome to the forum. Your best bang for the buck, is an L28ET swap. All depends on what you're looking for. Use the search function, You'll find everything you are looking for.
  15. I have the same book. Just looked. It says 10-12 ft-lb. I agree with Paul. Toss all those bolts and fix the holes.
  16. 240SX Bracket or 280ZX/Maxima ? new dimensions - Thank you very much for the reply. My total bracket thickness looks to be about 3/4" . The 2 caliper bolt pads are 1/2" . The thicker flange area (3 bolts to hub) is 1/2" and the caliper side is 1/4 " thick. So I'm guessing these are for the 240SX brakes ???
  17. Yes, they can be swapped no problem.
