  1. I got a pair of CNC machined aluminum break adapters in a trade while back. No I can't remember if these where for the maxima/280ZX calipers or the 240SX . The spacing from hole to hole (Center) for the caliper is 4 1/2 " . Witch adapters are they? Thanks.
  2. Right now I'm in the middle of 3 restorations, a house and about to open up a new shop. So, no time for a house call. If it's drivable enough that you can get it over to glen ellyn, I might be able to take a bit off to help you out.
  3. I've been doing the same thing for years. Works great. I would not recommend it for steel but you'd be amazed at what a good carbide blade will cut through. (Don't forget the WAX)
  4. I'm resurrecting this thread. Lets see if we have more members from IL.
  5. It makes no difference if the car is a n/a or turbo. Any coil will work.
  6. This needs to get moved to the non-tech section. Lets not pollute the drive train forum.
  7. How is your oil pressure? Also, did you check the clearances on the crank/bearings?
  8. Sounds like your brake booster is shot. I would fix that first, but you probably have some other problems too.
  9. Very nice work. That shroud should work great. Looks like you have been playing on a mill, also.
  10. I'd say it's toast. Those cracks look bad.
  11. What was the fuel pressure at?. Also , make sure to check it under load, not just idle.
  12. Except through the front cover ( ;
  13. I would just run new lines. They're pretty cheap and the you know all is good.
  14. Yeah, you need to use the 240z sender if you're using the 240Z gauge.
  15. Run the engine for a bit and redo your test. You maybe surprised.
  16. Use a noid light to verify that the injectors are getting a pule, you should also hook up a FP gauge.
  17. They can be dimmed. It requires a PWM circuit. Not very complex.
  18. Very sad, sorry for the loss. What is their regular life expectancy?
  19. You should really drop the tank and clean it out. The seafoam may dislodge the crap but it'll end up in the rest of your fuel system.
  20. Here's something that could be adapted. I know I have seen just the spinner by itself with a A/D out. Need to remember where I found it. Think it was mouser or something. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_21032_21032
