    Yes, it's called metal spinning. You could easily make the taper and curved edge.

    Make sure to tear out all the old sound deadening. It's the only way you can make sure there isn't more hidden rust. Also makes it much easier to clean and weld.

    Lets keep the misinformation down. All 82+83 Turbos were NOT P90a and not all P90A heads are hydraulic.

    Yeah, not too many Z's left in Illinois. The last one I built for a customer, got totaled less than 1 month after hitting the road ) : ... I need to meet some more local IL people. Not sure about the Windy City Z Club yet. Been to a couple of their meets through out the years. Lucky I still have my collection, and hope to have my monster on the road soon.

    Drill a hole on the back side. Spray with wand attachment and install rubber plug.

    LOL. My Dell Power supply blew up like a grenade. Little Pieces everywhere. I got them to replace it out of warranty but they put in a lower powered supply without the PCI-E . So I had to replace it anyway. Oh, well.

    What is the FP at now? 135 is WAY too hight, sounds like your return line is clogged.

    Did you replace it with the same pad? Is it seated all the way and in the correct orientation? Is it damaged in anyway?

    Very clean and straight.

    Well I've used several. Dynamat is definatly over priced. I personally like the RAAMmat BTX. I have also tried many other brands. Most of the Asphalt based stuff sucks. Some of it dose work OK for sound deadening but it smells and melts.

    Now, are you talking about Brown Bread or RaamMat BXT. Yes, the RAAMmat is great stuff, don't know if there is a new brown bread but the old stuff sucked.

    Yes, the Ensolite will help cut out other frequency's. The other problem I see, Is that Brown Bread is not comparable to Dynamat or another quality sound deadener.
